Does anyone actually rate them? and what do you think they can achieve?

Stalker should at least win a British title i think .
Not so sure about that with Cardle though imo.

Stalker will really struggle to win a British title. Bradley Saunders would beat him up.

Minimum British title for them both IMO

Cardle has huge potential think when he gets frustrated he makes errors and boxes alot worst than i've seen him but think that's down to the level of opponents. Maxi Hughes he was class against. Lightweight division is red hot in the UK aswell right now.

Stalker is a older pro but his amateur pedigree gives him alot of experience so gain British/Commonwealth maybe European.

not seen much of Cardle

but id expect Stalker to get to Euro level, he doesnt do anything excpetional but always does enough to win, has done since day 1

I did a 4 round spar with scott cardle about 18 months ago and he was very very good, great feet and fast hands, boxed my fooking head off, very good boxer, not seen much of stalker to be honest but I know a few people rate him quite high

I think Cardle was flattening people in the amateurs, but that's maybe dried up a bit in the professional game.

I wonder if he has bad hands or something. He is a tidy boxer, very neat and fast - but has a propensity to cut badly it would seem.

The main thing i seem to notice about Stalker is that he tries too hard and seem very taught and tense,im sure he,ll improve with experience and relax a bit more

they dont feature to hist on eddies list so dont hear much about them of late

stalker does not seem to have much power at the minute and does not look he will knock to many of his oppontents out as they get better

thats just from looking at his first few fights- but i could be wrong

i think some of the negative hating trolls on here lacking knowledge need to look up Stalker's amateur achievements

Was ranked World number 1 in his weight before the olympics
go to the quarter finals of the olympics and was clearly ROBBED of a medal, it it wasn't for that robbery he would have been the only british fighter ever to medal at every major tournament.

There is absolutely no way he will 'struggle to get to british level' or british title level max'

what's even more funny is the fact that light welterweight is the weakest division domestically in britain, therefore it is laughable to suggest stalker will struggle to win a british title

Stalker was a top amateur, was very well respected, and I don't care what others think he has impressed me so far as a pro, although he has things to work on. You can clearly see he has massive amateur pedrigree, is very fast and skilful.

He'll be European champion minimum
and will at least fight for a world title

I remember Witter was 17-0 with about 2 or so knockouts against very average opposition, before he got the late nod to fight Zab Judah.

He lost handily, but then he went on a like a 15-fight knockout run out of nowhere.

They sometimes come with experience and confidence.

Can't see either getting past domestic level, I'd be surprised if Stalker wins a British title.

Cardle has fast hands but look a light puncher. Not too sure about Stalker either when I saw him I was expecting a lot more.

i found cardle was a good little boxer.threw shots in bunches,all well placed. But worked in opposite corner to Saunders mon nite.very spiteful.every shot had bad intentions.v strong lad.intersting fight!cardle may win but have to up it another level

Robbed at home, in the Olympics, not sure I buy that one. Audley Harrison won an Olympic gold medal, what a great pro he's been. Johnny Nelson had 13 amateur fights and won 3, he went on to be world champion for 6 years. Being a good amateur doesn't make you a good pro, he's looked poor and he's 29, so he'll have to be moved quickly and everyone in the top 10 in the country beats him right now.

Didn't Stalker get a debatable decision in the prior round anyway? I may be wrong, but dimly seem to recall this...

Oh I do have a clue... Tom is 29, has looked average as a pro and is in the same division as a guy with roughly the same am pedigree and pro record who looks outstanding and would more than likely tare him a new one. Only Eddie can save him. FW would be more than willing to let that one go to purse bids. When do you envisage Stalker fighting for this World Title? 34/35?

Stalker is capable of selling 600-800 tickets at this stage of his career, that is a lot of money being brought into a promotion so he's going to be taken as far as he can for that reason alone.
