I just want to hear from a public point of view?! I said i would fight anyone at Super Featherweight but after last night having to do a demo bout,I and my fans feel a bit cheated :( I know its difficult to match fights but is it really that hard? What is the path I go down? I wanted to fight for the Scottish Super Featherweight title but that never happened, and everyone in Scotland at that level are too scared to fight me! Can i hear opinions please?

Why dont you contact Buncey and tell him you want on his 'Boxing Hour' show to voice your opinion/ambitions.
Im sure he will at least get you on the phone if not in the studio and someone somewhere will hear you and maybe make you a good offer. Possibly even contact Ringside but they would be less likely to assist.

Stephen Smith won't fight Ronnie.. He's got bigger fish to fry.. Has a big world ranking why take a fight that may set him back when there is a easier route to a World Title shot?? Smith v Ronnie would be a cracker while it lasted!! Won't happen though Smith will vacate and fight for EBU title... I personally would like to see Ronnie fight Gary Sykes for the vacant British title that I think will be on the 7th of December. This would be another good fight. Gary is a a excellent boxer and would be great TV.. If not that fight there is lots around the top ten Liam Walsh... Joe Murray... Ben Jones...Anthony Cacacae... Troy James and Chris Male to name a few.. These are the fights I want to see..

I hope that you get somewhere with this post ronnie as you deserve to get a chance. People believe that myself and daviddee are totally for Ronnie etc and blow smoke up his arse etc but over past 24 hours he will tell you thats not how it is. exhibition is ridiculous in pro boxing???. People paid good money to go watch that fight last night. £30 and £60 with £10 bus to watch a very light sparring session. Im sorry to prospects and maybe they did work hard but we were ripped off. I understand that people may say oh thats boxing but come on that sayings getting old. very old. Ronnie cant get a fight cause he doesnt sell tickets? he sold more tickets than prob every boxer bar butcher on that show id say on 2 weeks notice. We would have took our money back at the door quite happily and headed home on the bus. We left after 3rd fight. I dont get involved in the politics of the sport etc as quite frankly i dont like boxing enough to care really but on the 2 dinner shows i went to watch ( grudged) to support ronnie where we are being told what to do? what to wear? dont take your jacket off at the table?really? and insulted as we make our way in for not obiding the full rules of the club regarding clothing. I understand this is there rules but seriously? This post is in no way reflecting on ronnies opinion and has nothing to do with him as he cant get involved with it all. I see the work he puts into making a go of boxing but quite frankly I dont really fancy attending shows from now on to feel ripped off. Que the responses of this is boxing:)

I don't think anyone can be blamed if an opponent pulls out on the day of the fight and it would have been difficult to find a journeyman to take the fight on such short notice, especially when most are based down here.

Opponent never pulled out it was more a confirmation issue surely? He was named on a thursday night so I dont think hes pulled out injured etc?? End of day this has harmed Ronnie as selling tickets is hard enough without these problems. People rushed from work etc , days off paid there money for what? I cant justify it in any way sorry and have said same to Ronnie and its a shame as the 1 person whos not at fault will suffer (Ronnie) as it will come up to the old he cant sell tickets when he does fight:)? Most of these guys dont follow boxing and support a mate but to see two guys having a demo which was less physical than a pillow fight I cant imagine people flocking through the door to go back:) But hey thats boxing:)

Agree with the above I would be mightily pissed off to take a day off work & spend my hard earner to see an exhibition. Obviously I am not in the know, but seems like an almighty cock up here.

I know. It was more of a dream matchup.

This one is probably my fav match up if I was a neutral.. Both good body punchers. Smith is very quick and a good technical boxer.. Ronnie is quick and a massive Super Feather.. Also he has a very good chin.. Smith would need to take some bombs in this one.. Very hard night work for both lads.

Yes I'm his brother although it depends who's asking whether I will admit to it lol

Just to clarify this i will fight any of these opponents if i get offered them and my manager will accept them... I know the only way they will fight me is if its a weeks notice or something but if that is how the sport must be then so let it be!!! Roll on the offers of a fight! I see also daniel mcshane has no opponent for his next 2?! Fancy that one for a very vulnerable small fish?! ;)

change promoter im sure matchroom will sign some decent Scottish fighters to put on the burns shows or allegedly though either w@rren or even mcguigan?

There's a good chance he's in contract with Gilmour. Can't see Tommy letting him walk out of contract. Kris Hughes usually boxes anyone and that would be a good fight if Tommy could make it.

plenty of others have just look at Stephen smith and Jamie McDonnell in the last week
