The question here doesnt seem to be will he win a world title, Its How many ?

How many weight divisions could he win a title at ?

I dont really know his background as i only became aware of him during the Olympics but im thinking he could do it at Feather , Super Feather and Lightweight but beyond that i dont know.

I am really excited about this guy, he boxed at 60k about 9.7 as a world class am so could see him jumpin to at least lt-welter and even welter.

Didn't he only lose one amateur fight?

Yes to the Russian semilov, and then avenged that defeat by drawing him in the first round of the bejing Olympics the following year and boxing his head off, semilov refused to shake hands after that beating !

Just for the record, rigondeaux had 475 amateur fights with only 12 loses

Im gonna go against the Grain and say I wasnt completely impressed with Lomachenko's performance last night. His power impressed me and his movement but ignoring the knockdowns and eventual stoppage he was having it taken to him for a large part of the fight. It was only his debut I know so it's being harsh but if he's going to fight Salido in his next fight, going on that he's gonna struggle I think.

Thats a good point, he's gotta be judged by his own ridiculously high standards. Funnily enough i thought he might struggle to adapt for a while, learnin to sit down, although he was never a 'bouncer' in the ams but the power dunt seem to be a problem. Like Golovkin his subtle,understated moves are a joy to watch

I know what you mean to a certain extent ! But he never really got caught clean, his just the type of boxer who will shine against better opponents IMO, I will say there's no need to Rush him though, getting to the top is one thing but staying there is another. I'm going to look forward to the ride though
