Around the 6:22 mark onwards he goes into the split with Booth. He doesnt say too much but it doesnt sound overly amicable it has to be said http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnoRIMoF2LM

He's convinced himself about Froch, but i don't believe for a minute Froch will take him lightly or be the mentally weaker fighter.

I think Froch will take it right to him from the first bell and two minutes in we'll already know whether he's in trouble or not.

I actually think Groves is massively underestimating Froch.

Ignorance can be bliss, but it can also lul you into a false sense of security!

IMO groves is really discrediting froch! Maybe it's a ploy to wind him up which is working as froch is biting rather then say be gratefull & appreciative of me giving you the oppurtunity.

It's easy to slate froch on a technical level but he has been facing creme de la creme opposition & only lost clearly once against a mayweather like fighter in ward!
Before froch enterd that class he had the left hand low naz style with reflexes & sharp uppercuts & looked amazing but at top level you can't get away with too much but when his defence had been penetrated he's shown will & determination & plenty of balls. If groves believes it's all plain sailing he's in for a shock!!! Or he better roid up & move to heavyweight & flance around looking for hayemakers v slow footed lumps

Is the other guy in that interview (the one who isn't Groves or Eddie Hearn) the long haired journalist? He writes for one of the newspapers.

Yes, his name is Gareth A. Davies. I think its the daily telegraph he writes for. He does an MMA podcast too and presents an MMA show on BT sports.

Thought Gareth A Davies did a good job there.

Still think the Booth thing will effect Groves, not sure what happened there. But Froch might not be as up for this mentally. After the Mack fight he said he thought he was up for that but wasn't in hindsight.

Groves could cause some problems but ultimately Froch should beat him.

It's a bit like Nigel Benn v Nicky Piper. On paper Benn should have had an easy night, but Piper did far better than expected before his latent vulnerabilities eventually overwhelmed him late. Froch in 11 in a relatively even fight wouldn't surprise me at all.

Groves is much better than Piper was.
