I'd want an oil massage and a blow job from Spud thrown in for £157.50.

Haye don't show the fans no appreciation what so ever! He has no compassion & it's been proven time & time again I've heard plenty of stories on how he's treated people when asked for a photo or autograph . A massive self publicist who an egotistical fool.
I wouldn't be suprised if he didn't leave his table & greet people

God knows. Must be vastly overestimating his own popularity in Yorkshire. Even a genuine British superstar like Hatton didn't charge that much. Good luck to him charging that in Rotherham, of all places.

How popular would you say he is in your neck of the woods Mickey?

Nah i think your wrong to an extent, the guy does reguler open days at his gym to be fair.

I aernt sometimes with his antics, but i have met him and he was ok for a photo ...

Cannae blame him for doing dinner shows, there are worse ones out there - but the price is a bit ott. David Price has one in Anfield at the end of Jan ... really what is he going to talk about ?

A pal of mine got him up for a show he had on the deal was X amount of £'s with a cheque the rest cash. On arrival he demanded the full lump in pound notes or he was off. After he got his money he then proceeded to have his photos done with the VIP punters, my pals wife didn't manage to get hers done as she was running about organizing other things so she approached him later on in the night to ask if she could get a photo with him and he refused.

He sat on his phone all night ignoring anybody who tried to speak to him, what a utter knob he was from start to finish.

Not overly. People don't really care about him to be honest. He is best known amongst the casuals for his toe. I saw him box here once and it was empty.

Someones listening to us! They have amended tickets prices! Quite drastically as well. As I said about Ricky been cheaper, you can get tickets for Ricky at an Indian restaurant in York, with Henry Wharton and free Indian Buffet thrown in, with photo....for £50. It starts at 1pm and all the lads are going for a piss up before maybe heading over to Hull for the Coyle fight. Great day!

The amended ticket prices (~£105 and ~£75) are far more realistic.

Its still way to dear. The overheads in places like Hull and Rotherham will be far cheaper than if he did it in the South East. Is he at a level where he can go on the road and talk about his career? He doesn't have any real glory nights to speak of and I strongly doubt he does a stand up routine.

What has Haye got to say that anyone would want to pay money to hear? He's only 32, hasn't had an exiting career (not exactly like he can come up with Henry Cooper-esqe stories of years in the sport), plus most off what comes out of his mouth is utter shite anyways. He's quite dull and samey in interviews and doesn't come across too intelligent (this will be a 'gang-rape')

Why is it that Tyson Fury gets a lot of credit on this site for being an excellent self-promoter for talking shit on twitter? When he goes off on one on Channel 5 and shows us the extent of his hilarious wit by claiming that Price and Bellew are gay lovers, people on here are acting like he is funny, and claiming; "Hey, it sells fights."

But when Haye does it, he's a bell-end?

Don't get me wrong, he's annoyed me as much as anybody since he's come up to heavyweight, but he sells fights. Many people legitimately thought Haye vs Audley was going to be a good fight. Think about it for a minute. Audley debuted in 2001. For nine years, the press slated him. Said he was rubbish, should retire and had nothing to offer the pro-game. The fans were callin him Ordinary Harrison, Fraudley and A-Farce. For nine years. And yet, Haye got a lot of people believing it was a 50-50 fight, worth paying money for.

He's a lot better a sales person of fights than Fury is, who just likes to go off on twitter rants. And yet, Fury gets held up on this site like some amazing sales person, and Haye gets treated like a jerk.

Why is that? Is it just because people have fallen for Haye's hype before, and become bitter?

Completely wrong. Haye never said anything other than the Harrison fight was a mismatch and that Audley didn't deserve it. People like Fury because he comes across as genuine, whereas Haye comes across as smug. And a prick.
Why is that? Is it just because people have fallen for Haye's hype before, and become bitter?
