"This was a 'farce', a joke played on the public. Sonny Liston's reflexes were slow, and
he looked out of it from the time he got into the Ring. His coordination was gone.
Maybe he drank a little something, or a lot of something before the fight."
"I hear the Newspapers in Moscow have called it 'a fake', 'a farce' and 'a fraud."
"This is terrible for boxing, and Clay was part of it. I'm told in The Philippines
they have a picture with Clay and Liston standing together, holding 'Oscars'."
"It's a joke all over the world."
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the
abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all
liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Revelation 21:8
I'm going to pray for you that you don't burn for eternity.

Manila, The Philippines {AP Report}
The Philippines Herald
'Front Page'
Cut-out 'head-shots' of Cassius Clay and Sonny Liston, put on a superimposed photo
of the bodies of an actor and actress holding 'Oscars'.
The best acting job of the year.

Nothing in the article you cited suggested the GOAT was in on the fix if there was one. I urge the denizens of this site to read it and make their own conclusions.
This is true:
"Maybe I should fight three of them — Floyd Patterson, George Chuvalo and Ernie Terrell — in one night," said Clay
Four rounders. He would be favored to beat all three in one night...
There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a
lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil,
a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers.
Proverbs 6:16-19
That's four, Duce. I'm praying you either repent and turn away from your wicked ways or purchase a fireproof suit.

I questioned what you suggested the citation said not the citation itself.

Filled with 'incertitudes'. Such polysemy can give rise to a special ambiguity.
I don't want to turn this thread into a ersatz debate on Biblical inerrancy though we can all agree the truth is a precious commodity and that's why you use it so sparingly.
