Just saw that there is a show up there in November. Darren Traynor headlining with his first title shot when he boxes for British Masters Featherweight title. Saw Traynors last fight on YouTube where he battered Micheal Stupart but hopefully a better test this time.

Matty Mcallister also boxes over 8x3s. Saw Matty a couple of times now and looked impressive. Hopefully kicks on in 2014.

Marek Laskowski also boxing 6x3s. Never saw the lad.

Sounds like a good show I'm probably going to go up even if Ronnie isn't boxing!! Let's just hope Tommy can get someone willing to fight him. I like the sounds of Sebastian Cornu if no British lads can be found.. He has a decent European ranking and has fought Ormond and Walsh.. A wee bit of a hint here ha

Hope he's on the bill but can't see Gilmour getting a suitable opponent.

I hope your wrong because Ronnie's fans deserve something better than what happened at Ravenscraig.. Ronnie has put his faith in Tommy it's time to deliver. There is 2 big titles that he should be vying for.. British Title will be vacant.. Gary Sykes will fight for the vacant title. If Walsh doesn't take the fight Ronnie's name should be way up there. Also there is Walsh's Commonwealth title. I'm not a manager but these are great opportunities and both fights that Ronnie could win. The Sykes fight would make great Tv.. Their styles would mesh really well. I know people are going to say this won't happen in Aberdeen and that's fair enough but im sure these fights can be pushed for. As for Darren v Curran I would be shocked this early in his career.. Dougie is a big super Feather and Very good boxer. I think David is moving Darren along nicely it kind of a big jump for Stupart to Curran. I think it will be someone like Al Hamidi. I would prefer him down fighting some of the featherweights as I'm sure that's where he will win titles. I've heard the shows are amazing. I was meant to go to one about 5-7 years ago was for WBU title If I remember but I ended up needing too work. Looking forward to this one..

Itl probs be Iain Bailey Traynor boxes. Curran is logical as same promoter and Curran boxes anyone but I am sure I read it was for a featherweight title and can't see Curran making the weight

After 6 fights TG likes to test his fighters so maybe Curran and he has boxed at feather before and with notice maybe he could make the weight or a rematch with Ronnie could be on the cards and I cant see
Youssef Al Hamidi making feather weight this is all guess work maybe David McAllister will do the match making and he will let us know

if the British SFW Title goes to purse bids do you think or hope/pray TG will digs deep .... As for the Walsh fight that could be on allegedly TG had Cornish on a Frank W show so maybe that could happen but don't hold your breath

traynor won a golden glove tournament as an amatuer ,not many fighters can say that .

i think matt has been down south training or sparring recently which is good .

Why would the British become vacant Stephen Smith just won it and must defend against Sykes,if the Commonwealth became vacant I'm sure TG could pull the old rabbit out the hat job

Billy the BBofBC have said that Smith has to fight on the Warren show you he will be stripped of the title.. I'm not sure about the politics as you have said before but I'm sure that Hearn will not let him fight on a Warren show. From what I hear Smith will be fighting for some sort of European title don't know of it's the EBU? You should be in the know Billy boy!! I have heard Walsh is going to be fighting for a lightweight title so the commonwealth will be vacated if that's true!!

Walsh boxed Scott Harrison at lightweight and didn't need to give up his SFW Title but as BN said TG has a good day with CW Top Brass so you never know maybe a few funny hand shakes but still cant see TG digging deep to get any of his fighters a crack with loads of notice maybe 2/3 weeks tops if your lucky I heard Savage got asked to fight Selby 10 days notice as I said before Savage been a pro 6 years had nothing like a fair crack from TG on good titles chances

Walsh boxed for WBO European I believe? I think they let him keep hold of the commonwealth if he defended it within a certain period. I have been told that Walsh will be fighting for a big title I'm guessing either British, Commonwealth or EBU at lightweight if he fights for any of those he will need to vacate the SF title.. And Billy is right if Ronnie was to fight for either the British or Commonwealth it would be on allegedly. I hope Tommy can get Ronnie matched early and get him a good fight as a lot of Ronnie's fans deserve better after the farce at ravenscraig. Gethin is fighting Crolla for the British and Derry Mathews is the Commonwealth champion, although he looks set to vacate, leaving Richard Commey and A N Other to fight for the vacant belt. I can't see that being Walsh since he already holds the belt at super feather and a Commey fight holds very little for him. Marsili could be brought over, but at 37, he will be looking for a big retirement payday and I don't know if Warren has the type of cash to bring him over right now.

Thinking about it now, Walsh isn't eligible for the EBU because he fought for the WBO European and you have to wait a year before being ranked by the EBU, Mathews is fighting Ormond for it, so he's out of contention for the European title until 2015, so unless Walsh fights Commey for the Commonwealth title, it'll be a super featherweight fight or an intercontinental title at lightweight. I can see him taking Smith's place and fighting Sykes for the British title at SFW.

It's funny how boxing is.. It's all if's and maybe's. Walsh had a very good lightweight ranking he looked a bit weight drained a Super Featherweight from what I hear(may not be true) he will not fight at 9st 4lbs again.. Ronnie has no plans to fight at Lightweight. I don't believe he would be small as he's a huge Super Feather but I'm guessing Billy means height. Ronnie makes Super Feather easy and in honesty could probably make feather is he really wanted. If Smith chooses to vacate/be stripped my guess is there will be Sykes v ??? For British title. If Walsh the vacates I think Warren will have the vacant commonwealth crown between 2 other prospects on the SF division with the winner of both fights fighting for the British and Commonwealth titles at a later date.. That's a if and a maybe :)... As for lightweight I expect Walsh to fight for a World title or a interm title.. The winner of Ormond v Mathews will then fight him. Ronnie has tried everything to try and get fights. The thing about twitter is you can just ignore it. I know it's something he doesn't like to do he is very respectful towards other fighters it's just annoying when offers are made they say no. The favourite answer I have heard is that they won't fight him unless it's for a title.. Hooper, Kay's, Male and James all good fights for Ronnie if they could be made. Ben Jones was offered and refused before. I see what your saying about guys ahead of him but it certainly won't be John Simpson as he is fighting Tommy Coyle.. Foster Jnr would not be a very exciting fight in my opinion and I believe his record of lately wouldn't warrant another crack at the title. Walsh and Jones have good world rankings to protect so can't see them risking that to fight for the British.. I agree though and I'm sure Ronnie would be happy if he was fighting an eliminator or to be honest as long as he gets fights ha

Apart from jones who else has turned the fight down with ronnie. I think an eliminator is his best option if it cud b made. Troy and chris putting it on the line I'm sure other fighters cud do the same for ronnie and the 2 winners battle for a crack at british.

No you're right billy if it did Steve Wood might of got Terry Flannagan a fight against matchrooms protected domestic lightweights
