Does anyone know an active fighter who has had it or similar. Got the buzz to fight again but I'm just cautious thanks

Best leaving until after you finished, unless the probs it's giving you now are too bad.

I'd still fight again, if it breaks, it breaks, noses break when you get punched! :box: :box:

Chris Arreola had to have stents inserted to reconstruct his nasal cavaties after Stiverne malleted it.

box again if you want. septo/rhino-plasty is generally done for sportsmen etc after trauma causes deviated nasal septum. the worst that will happen is that you will spend the rest of your life as a 'mouth breather'. many people do it anyway due to nasal polyps etc.

I was a 'mouth breather' before I just was a bit worried don't want to end up with a freaky looking nose

Ive had it done and is the main reason ive never boxed again , well that and being too heavy nowdays.

It gave me so many issues in the past that i never wanted to risk screwing it up again.

Its still not perfect now but its much better than it was originally

Kirk Goodings (Sunderland) had this done in the middle of his senior am career, I wouldn't say it's bothered him, he's just won a title

I had it done after playing rugby. Once it was healed I took up boxing (aged 26) was never really a problem it took a few whacks and held up ok. I only sparred though never competed.
