There are about 60 odd world titlists who have beaten a world champion or fought a contender for a vacant belt; it could be argued that Lomachenko beat someone last week as good as anyone on Brooks record; is he number 20 P4P?Bennyblanco wrote:I like brook but untill he's beat a top level opponent then his name and P4P shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentance.
I have brook ahead of khan, I think brook stops khan any day of the week.Andypittcov wrote:I wouldn't have khan in the top 20 and he's a long way ahead of brook
But that is an imaginary thing of something that hasn't happened and may not happen; Khan is by far the better proven fighter, he has a far better amateur pedigree, has faced far better opposition has (somehow) wrangled a mega fight with Mayweather (no chance at all but very decent money) and is he a year younger than Kell? Khan has his faults but at least his ranking is based on his wins and losses and not through some fortune telling.rhino222 wrote:I have brook ahead of khan, I think brook stops khan any day of the week.Andypittcov wrote:I wouldn't have khan in the top 20 and he's a long way ahead of brook

There was no need at all to rephrase; I was agreeing with you, my point was that there were over 60 boxers with a claim to a world title who'd at least tackled someone at world level, that someone who hasn't yet done that can be ranked 19 P4P is a touch bizzare; I understand and appreciate that Brook is a very good boxer with qualities that may get him a world title but he'd have to prove himself by defending the title against other very good men before he ought to be considered in a P4P list.Bennyblanco wrote:palooka wrote:There are about 60 odd world titlists who have beaten a world champion or fought a contender for a vacant belt; it could be argued that Lomachenko beat someone last week as good as anyone on Brooks record; is he number 20 P4P?Bennyblanco wrote:I like brook but untill he's beat a top level opponent then his name and P4P shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentance.
Ok ill re phrase that. Untill he's beaten numerous world level boxers
