If you happen to open your eyes you will see that Sonny uses the same tools he used to lose in the first fight with Young Cassius. Same skillset, same speed, same determination....and in those cases...it worked on those lesser opponents.

If you will be honest with yourself, and view those fights, you will EASILY determine that Sonny no longer (if indeed he ever did) had what it would take to defeat the type of opponent that Ali was.

However, if you come back after watching these, and announce that you see that he was better, faster, stronger, more skillfull and more determined and capable of defeating an Ali......well I will be glad to explain to you the errors contained in your assessment.

Then we agree, there would be no need for another match. As the first two matches regardless of their controversy, yielded the same result they would have yielded even if they lacked drama/controversy/ or any other "compromised" imagined or real set of dynamics.
