only on the British Boxing Magazine News Site......

Fight got fairly easy to score after round 6, did making the weight affect the champion??, good crowd in Denver too.

Top Rank also have a 1 fight option over Provodnikov with many suggesting Rios as his next opponent, other than that Bradley or Alvarado rematches???

comments welcome

I think that weight making did have an effect though more important was that Ruslan was hitting as hard in the 10th round as he was in the 1st round. Mike landed some flush shots and did well in flurries but Provodnikov is very determined and does not discourage. Alvardo may do well at welterweight while Ruslan ought to earn some big money- he is a very exciting boxer to watch.

Gary cheers mate, had a wee chat with Iain on twitter today. Good stuff on his baby and says he cant wait for title eliminator.

Mickey, im a fan trying something different mate, i was lucky enough to be asked by boxing news to do my fightscorecollector articles for them on the site. Gary is right though, i was asked to cover the prospect promotions bill for the BN mag last week. Enjoyable experience that i hope leads to more work.

Palooka would really like to see Provodnikov vs Rios, who takes the baack step?? lol

Ruslan v Rios would be a real tear up but we have to see what is left of him after Manny gets his mitts on him; there are some excellent match ups for Provodnikov - Rios would be a delight as he is so aggressive and full of guts, that's be a desperate battle and they'd deserve to be very well paid :TU:
