He's by far the most talented, classy and an excellent pedigree - I don't think the format will suit him though, he takes a bit to get warmed up - he's got a 12 round professional game and Prizefighter suits the talented amateur type boxer.

Toney seems pretty punch drunk to me but I suppose he can still do it on auto-pilot. If he does lose, he won't go quietly.

Considering Joshua is topping the bill in his 3rd pro fight, would it make sense for his 4th to be vs. the winner of this Prizefighter? Or do you think some/any of the names mentioned so far would be too much for him at this stage.

Be fun/ugly to see someone so crude trying to land on someone so defensively sound.

It would be sad to see him getting beat by people he would have had no trouble with a few years ago. He could literally have won this with one arm in his prime. I still imagine he will be very hard to hit for the 3 rounders.

Also dissapointing that Larry is getting a pay day. I have no interest in seeing him back in a ring.

They should have thrown Joshua in this tournament to kick start his career. He would win it quite comfortably IMO and would propel him quickly as that is the plan from fast car

Why? Toney is a drugs cheat as well. Why is it alright for him to fight and not Larry?

I reckon the short distance will suit Toney. He won't have to pace himself and can let fly with quick fire combinations with enough regularity to cruise through. Although there's a chance that by the final he might be a bit gassed.

But Keith's right: Pretty shameful there'll be at least two drug cheats in there.

Throw the cash cow into some dodgey 3 rounders where anything can happen. Not much learning to be had from this format of boxing.

Kick starting his career? You make it sound like it's gone a bit stale for him in the 17 days since his pro debut.

Seriously, he's had one fight and has four fights scheduled before the end of 2013. Absolutely no point putting him in Prizefighter whatsoever. He's still learning the game.

Absolutely, although at least Toney has been a long time since his last conviction - my point was Toney is so shot that he aint going to win though and Eddie should be ashamed for brining him into it.

The only active fighter comparable to Danny Williams in how shot they are.

Based on that lineup so far, the only man whose dangerous to Toney is Williams. The Tank has a devestating overhand right, he almost poleaxed Evander Holyfield with it. But, being as these are three round fights---- I dont see Toney being in much danger, though of course, I dont see how his style is going to really score him points when the object to the game in three rounders is to just throw all caution to the wind and go out with the kayo.

Why are people complaining about James Tony being "shot" who cares! I want to see him in Prizefighter at York Hall FFS. So what if Larry got done for steroids; I honestly don't give a monkeys!

Prizefighter is the nutz! Always fun to watch.
