Though I was impressed with Frampton last week - he has very fast hands and hits spiteful; I think Quigg would box to a plan and get a points win; I'd like to see Quigg really go for it though - he seems very measured and controlled though I imagine he'd be pretty fierce when needs must.

To me the difference between the 2 is paper thin. I think if they met they would both have to go places they have yet been.
I favour Quigg basically because I think he could adapt his game plan better.

sport is all about levels and I honestly think Frampton is on different level than quigg
I could not see quigg lasting the distance with carl at the moment

Quigg for me, he has the power to keep Frampton more than honest and will be able to box a game-plan which beats him. I think they are both great though.

I wouldn't want to call a winner for this but it would make for a great unification fight if it could be done.

they're the perfect contrast, aren't they.
quigg, with such heavy hands and quite heavy on his feet...Frampton, fleet footed but a tad weedy-looking (didn't look strong inside v kiko).
quigg, the tradesman, throws everything correctly from a solid base...Frampton, with the flashy combos, covering more miles.
quigg by far the more poised, and Frampton showing more urgency. does quigg operate at a fast enough pace? is Frampton controlled and calm enough? would quigg leave it too late / would Frampton burn too much energy up?
they'd match up brilliantly. I think Frampton will certainly beat kiko Martinez again, if it comes to that matchup. quigg v Martinez could be a brutal matchup.

I wouldnt say Frampton looks weedy. He looks pretty stocky and compact to me. Short with short arms.

just the way he was ducking low inside with kiko Martinez. I mean, in the way he reacts to his opponent's physicaly strength. the one or two "flaky" things you see a fighter do, sometime. though he dealt with it, with a mixture of impressive mobility, grit, handspeed and timing.
Frampton does have that star look about him.

I think it's because he has a more open style than Quigg aswell though. Quigg is compact and has his gloves held high and tight defense in that sense. I think partly because his chin was proven to be a little suspect in the early part of his career.

Frampton weedy looking? He's a tank.
I've watched both up close numerous times. I've worked Framptons corner twice in the early days too.
I think Frampton is the better fighter but both could beat each other. They seem the perfect foil for each other. Both susceptible to each others strengths potentially but I do feel Frampton is more versatile. He's sort of found himself in this traditional style but before he was a very aggressive pressure fighter in the cotto mould.
I think he could approach the fight in different ways whereas quigg would do what he always does. It might be enough, it might not but I'd just favour Frampton. Both absolutely smashing lads though. quiggs a belting lad and I'm glad to see him do well.

Well you have Rigondeaux, Santa Cruz and Donaire if he still fancies staying at the weight.

Fortunately, they both are a few years from their peaks, so if this fights happens now or a few years down the line, it will be great. Hopefully neither will be sparked before that can happen

Based on recent performances I'd probably say Frampton.

Frampton was the most controlled and calmed person out of the 9,000 against Parodi. Frampton for me but both are world class. Its going to be an exciting few years watching these 2
