Which part of the UK or Ireland was he born?

I think Taffy is suggesting the original post shouldn't be in the British Boxing part of the forum. Personally I've got no problem with it as I sometimes like to discuss overseas fighters, but can't face the madness of the general forum and would prefer to hear from those with more informed opinions.columbo wrote:huh?taffytoon wrote:Which part of the UK or Ireland was he born?

I have no real problem mate, I just dont see the point in having sub forums when they are ignored.Deserter wrote:I think Taffy is suggesting the original post shouldn't be in the British Boxing part of the forum. To me it looked like Wilder was carrying him a bit to get in rounds.Old bones Ian wrote:Was not impressed last night. Firtha is a brave guy, but he should of been taken out quicker.
Wilder was bad with the right hand, kept looping it instead of throwing it straight.
I think his handlers are waiting for a vacant title shot, no way does he beat Vlad or Vitali, going by last nights performance
This is a forum for british/irish fans to talk about boxing together, not for worldwide boxing fans to talk only about british/irish boxing. I've been here 10 years and thats always been the way of it.taffytoon wrote:Which part of the UK or Ireland was he born?
utter horse sh*t. If I was Wilder I wouldn't have taken that fight. I could only watch to 2:46 despite the video only running to 3:25 and the fight still going on. That's how I feel about that.....that said, the geezer had more fire in him that Big Aud.Groove Armada wrote:Wilder is not going to be Heavyweight Champion. Arrerola and ,any others will beat him.
30-0 sou7nds good, but Firtha etc are not helping him to get to the title.
Has an Olympian ever had such a poor opponent as this?
Damn!

Or..... you could believe his promoter, who says he wants Bermane Stiverne next for Wilder.HomicideHenry wrote:I got a friend on the inside at TopRank who told me some news down the grape vine that Wilder's people are pulling back on their man after that pitiful performance with Firtha---- so don't expect to see Wilder any time soon be challenging or facing the likes of Tony Thompson, Kubrat Pulev, or even Tyson Fury. I guess the rumors about Wilder getting dropped with a jab in Klitschko's camp are true; when you figure a guy like Firtha (who is tough but no world beater) was able to tag him and showed no fear and took Wilder four rounds.
The video is Wilder's 11th pro fight against Dustin 'the Worm' Nichols.the truth wrote:That's not firtha it's clearly one of his earlier fights
Reliable source told me it will be rematch of Arreola and Stiverne for the WBC belt.keithmoonhangover wrote:Or..... you could believe his promoter, who says he wants Bermane Stiverne next for Wilder.HomicideHenry wrote:I got a friend on the inside at TopRank who told me some news down the grape vine that Wilder's people are pulling back on their man after that pitiful performance with Firtha---- so don't expect to see Wilder any time soon be challenging or facing the likes of Tony Thompson, Kubrat Pulev, or even Tyson Fury. Wilder's Great Grandmother's sister's brother's nephew is English. That means he qualifies to play for England and be on this thread!ALI wrote:This is a forum for british/irish fans to talk about boxing together, not for worldwide boxing fans to talk only about british/irish boxing.
