I hear Ian Napa making a come back, a good clever fighter that don't take too many shots.. I'd say he is massively over fighting weight right now, 3stone..
Spoke to a few people and they say we should get it on Part 3
IMO if Napa could Punch he would of won a World Title... Good Luck Mr Napa :TU: :TU:

Because he is such a small guy he will need to fight at super bantam or below to be competitive at domestic level, of course it depends on how he has lived as well, he is in his late 30s yeah?

Used to like watching Napa fight. Stylish boxer with an excellent defense. Had his limitations but still managed to win a Lonsdale outright and a European title. Nothing to be frowned at. He always seemed to tight at bantamweight but too small for Super Bantam

I agree with you there. What was his power actually like? There were times in some fights he looked like he had a decent dig, others not so much. Was he a lax trainer? Amazing skills.

Find this hard to believe - did you see the size of him in Ochieng's corner in Liverpool recently ?

He never had much Power but he fought me in the 11th round and had me rocking a bit, but this was down to me now training and being fit to fight a 12round fight...

The nearest we have had since adrian stone that had the james toney style. If he had stayed at fly he could have been world champ. Always looked fleshy anything above fly. Was it napa who sued the york hall when he burnt his back there pre fight on a red hot radiator?

If Napa had of possessed even 50% type KO power he'd have picked up a world title, because his skillset was superb. A pleasure to watch. I wish him well in this comeback, but its hard to see where he'll fit in. Only tiny he needs to get his weight down as low as possible without draining himself and at this point that'll not be easy. But if he can get the weight off, then who knows what chances might present themselves.

Agree with the plaudits here, I loved watching Napa, great skills just lacked the power, smooth and silky at his best.
