Which British fighters, if any, do you think could be in the P4P top 10 in years to come. This is purely hypothetical.

Personally I'd like to think Callum Smith & Kell Brook could be up there at different points over the next few years. Then further down the line I really think Luke Campbell could be something special. Any other ideas or do you think our next gen aren't going to reach the heights of Calzaghe, Froch, Hatton, Haye and Khan?

Frampton or Quigg maybe ???

Callum Smith, Anthony Joshua, Luke Campbell and George Groves all have the potential too be in the top 10 P4P in the future if you mean of all time no chance.

17 British boxers have won Olympic gold medals, none of those have won world titles as professionals.

I trawled through Wikipedia earlier, we've won 53 Olympic boxing medals, a couple of fighter have won more than one, but only four of those, Alan Minter, Richie Woodhall, Robin Reid and Amir Khan, have won world titles as pros. Of the 14 fighters that have won world amateur medals, David Haye and Carl Froch are the only two to win world titles professionally, but most of those medals came in the last decade, so that number may increase.

I don't see many of the names mentioned so far, even being world title holders, let alone p4p rated.

i think kell brook is good but will be fortunate to get a title in a packed welterwieght division. and even if he does pick a title up against a lesser champion, he'll never be considered even close to the top of that wieght class.

callum smith has looked very impressive against very limited opposition, but i haven't seen anything that suggests he'll be a superstar.

same goes for joshua, campbell, agogo. they may become world champions, some may fail. but it's far too early to be predicting p4p greatness

as for quigg/frampton, they'll do well not to get embarrased by rigondeaux if they get the chance to face him. but it is incredibly difficult to be rated in the lighter wieght divisions.


we have a lot of good talent coming through and i'd love to say we'll dominate the p4p rankings in 5 years time, but there is no one jumping out at me as being potentially elite level.

The only brit boxer i can think of who has the potential to be top ten p4p is callum smith but then again frampton hasnt looked troubled in any of his fights either so id say them 2

We have 3 unbelievable 12st prospects in groves,degale & mundo.

Tyson fury if he can back up his boasts

Luke Campbell is an outright winner & has the habit of excelling.

His gold medal was for Canada, I don't want to get into the whole hoohah about whether he's British or not though.

Just throwing it out there. If by some miracle khan was to beat Floyd next year, then that victory alone will put him in every top ten list going.

I think Yafai has the potential

Personally liking the look of Joshua so far as well as Luke Campbell. But as for future p4p not sure. still long way to go and plenty of leaning to do. Apart from the obvious (Olympic medalists) think Quigg is looking good and seems to have a quality attitude to development.

I'd like to see how Paul butler gets on in the next 18 months think he could be somewhere in the p4p rankings and as for Campbell he has only had 3 fights how anyone can really believe he is a future p4p top 10 I'm not sure. Personally don't think he is going to live up to the hype, hope I'm wrong though
