Sam Soliman v Les Sherrington Dec 13. Interesting fight. whilst I favour Sam, especially if his form from the Sturm and Lorenzo bouts continue, I think its a good match up which will hopefully put him back in a position for a crack at a world title. Interested how you guys think this will go.

Good Fight, I favour Soliman to earn a points victory. I think he makes it a ugly frustrating night for Les. A win for either puts them right into contention for a big international fight.

This is an interesting fight. should be good although i agree that sam will frusterate the heck out of sherrington and win a UD. There is still that chance that Sherro lands a flush shot though.

I believe Sam becomes the IBF mandatory after Sturm gets his mandatory challenge done. Barker/Sturm has a clause for a rematch in the UK in the unlikely event that Sturm wins.
Barring an upset Sam should get a shot at whoever holds the IBF sometime next year.
His nine month drug suspension from the BDB ends in early November...............after all the grandstanding he did after popping positive for a banned substance he will have stayed out of the ring long enough to satisfy the suspension.

Geale has a rematch clause with Barker which he is hoping to activate after Barker beats Sturm. I get the feeling Sam might be waiting in line again...

^^^^Forgot about that.
Looks like Sam pissed away his title shot when he popped positive.

I would have liked to see Sam v Gealey for the number 1 spot. wouldnt surpise me if sam looked outside the IBF if a victory over Sherrington doesnt get him a title shot. he has been the number 1 contender for quite a while. good luck to both Sam and Gealey whatever happens.

How is this card not being televised by Fox Sports, or even One HD or something...

The undercard is a bit lop-sided and only the main-event has any value television wise, hence little or no interest.

I have seen undercards of similar standards, without a main event as good as this, televised on fox sports.
This should have been picked up by someone, I mean the winner is probably one fight away from a world title shot

I figure Sturm will try and milk as many dud defences as possible before facing Geale, or soliman for that matter. They may as well fight now
