PELE COME BACK

Is Pele Reid done with boxing? I know he's been on the K-1 circuit, but he keeps getting turned over.

It would be a good time for him to re-emerge. Plenty of decent domestic tussles. I'd fancy him against Herbie (a real battle of chinny hitters) and you can never be sure which Danny W is going to turn up.

Skelton would probably take him, but it would be exciting.

Pele Reid is ALWAYS value for money, I can't remember seeing him in a bad fight.

He would be a welcome return to the unsettled domestic scene.
His weight of punch could secure him victory against any of the current crop if he caught em right...

He fought a K1 fight on Saturday night at the NEC. And lost.

There was one Pele stinker, against Eli Dixon, a flabby spoiler on a big Sheffield card. 9 rounds of flapping and hugging at a time when the Reid hype was at it's zenith.

But he is definitely welcome to return. (Pele, not Eli)

If he caught Audley with the clean shots that Hersisia did.....

Pele needs to get out of boxing/k-1 and all contact sports. He can't hold a shot very well at all and has been knocked out several times now and that is not a good thing. He needs to think seriously about his health.Returning to boxing would be the worst thing he could do.

Many were saying the same of Herol Graham after loses to Julian Jackson/Charles Brewer and especially Frank Grant, but he cameback each time to put in memorable performances.

I realise Herol is on a different planet from Pele in terms of boxing talent, but the big guy can bang and any heavy who is caught right will go, just ask your namesake....
