Ryan is the best on that list.

RR is probably the best fighter but the best win imo is Jones' v phillips...having said that memory aint wot it was. Mcracken was a good fighter who i think lacked a defining fight..alexander n bingo could knock houses down..Roberts nWilliams extremely easy on the eye. Good post

yeh i know he got his shot mickey but dint he have to wait around inactive leading up to it? when i say defini.g fight i suppose i mean he never really showed off his talents to the fullest...thought he had so much more in his locker if you know wot i mean

not sure, he had good fundamentals, very good, but i don't think he had the pure talent, physically, that the guys at the absolute top have

Wasn't one of McCrackens brothers a top lad in the Zulus? Read it in the Andy Till biography, some bad lads in that mob.

I saw them at it at one of Henry's fights. Nut jobs.. Not one of them could fight, either. Safety in numbers for those clowns.

Any football fan boozed & on the gear is a nuisance. I've seen some top lads go & it's embarrassing to watch.then you have got your loons that love a knife & are life threatening.
I knew a lad who could handle himself not mega hard or tough but he had a fracas on a match day & earnt this silly reputation & he said himself he got attacked by drunken supporters & they couldn't fight & he wasn't interested in this pack of Wally shite.

That's loosely my list in my order but to be fair you can make a case for any of them beating each other on a good night.

Alexander Bingham would have being incredible but Wayne could punch with both hands whereas Ensley was predominantly a solid (understatement) left hooker.

Silky Jones was erratic and you could quite easily imagine him getting chinned by a prime Paul Samuals but when he was good he was really good.

It's sad to see how many of these tremendously talented fighters wallowed in inactivity and anonymity - time does separate a few of them but these were the crop of British talent and there are more you could add to that list....

A man I know boxed both Sinclair and Alexander and said that he didn't really feel Neils punches but that Wayne hit very hard indeed; he also boxed Moore but I don't think his heart was in the sport anymore. I didn't believe him really about Sinclair not hitting that hard, I watched Neil v Dennis Berry and thought he hit very hard.
