I think Groves is coming across as a bit of a pudendum here in these final stages. I havent watched the whole show though to be honest.

I've not seen anything bad that Groves has said about Froch but there must be a ploy to needle him, get him to lose the plot a bit. Has Groves said anything crappy or is it that he's not sat praising the greatness of Carl?

Froch definately rattled....Froch nuthuggers will deny it, but he wasn't happy.

He kept saying silly things like he thought Carl was going to cry when Johnny asked him a question. Like Alba said, he also kept leaning towards him trying to rile Carl. Froch wouldnt even look at George.

froch did look uneasy at the end but when groves comes across as a school child are you going cry etc insults id be uneasy aswell froch looked rattled and embarrassed at same time, this is heating up brilliantly

Froch isn't really all that comfortable in front of the camera and puts on a bit of a front most of the time. Its going to be worse with Groves who seems like a bit of a gobshite and clearly tries to intellectually intimidate him at every opportunity. I find it all a bit cringe worthy to be honest and none of it is going to have any baring on the fight. If you want to get under Froch's skin just fight like Dirrell did and force him into fighting a more reckless fight. I still expect this will be the case come fight night with Groves fighting an incredibly negative fight.

Funny show Groves mentioned Froch's brother asked for pictures after their sparring saying he was going to be a future world champ.

I have this feeling George is gonna do it but lets wait and see.

I'm not sure what was wrong with Groves? People are slagging him off, calling him embarrassing etc. All he did was state a few facts and say he was going to win. Froch was a bellend as usual, the only lack of respect is from him to Groves, he contradicted himself as usual and has a very selective memory, notably about Calzaghe, yes, eventually he was mandatory, but what about the three years before that when he was saying he would knock Calzaghe out? He was definitely riled and at the end didn't respond and just sat there, looking a bit stunned.

Groves's embarrassing 'are you gonna cry Carl' comment was just plain silly

He wasn't stunned mate, he was sat there in disbelief at the stupid comments Groves was making

I think people are misunderstanding it a bit, Froch isn't upset or allowing groves into his head, he is just plainly itching to get this fight on and in my opinion, he will REALLY take it out on groves when they meet.

I don't actually think its hype now Froch doesn't like Groves imo

Froch was a lot more chilled than last time, I generally think he was embarrassed. His eyes were glazed even when he was talking about kel brook. I don't think he's rattled as such but he is a little uneasy around Groves.

I've always thought that Groves doesn't take himself too seriously. He doesn't mind saying things that maybe make him look a little silly, and is prepared to take it in return.

Froch can take himself way too seriously at times and likes to be measured in his comments.

Whether it's making Froch cringe, making Froch embarrassed, making him angry or simply making him unsettled on camera Groves and his comments are having an effect on Carl's usually cool demeanor.

I would agree with others though, the Hearns where in full swing in terms of trying to sell the show. It feels like Ringside was hijacked this week.

Froch is a big fan of the mind games and he doesn't like the fact that groves is cleverer in that department
