Were there any undercard fights before the main event? Any interesting fights that decided future opponents?

Il Duce wrote:Yes,

{Bout 1} - African Light Heavyweight Champion - Bo Sounkalo fought.

{Bout 2} - Shako 'The Black Mamba Snake' Mamba fought Antonio Oke - For the African Boxing Union Middleweight Championship.

{Bout 3} - American Heavyweights - Roy 'Tiger' Williams vs. Henry Clark.

Note; The Roy Williams - Henry Clark bout was 'cancelled', because Muhammad Ali messed up the time schedule.

This bout was then changed to the 'after the' Main Event bout, but with all the turmoil after the Main Event, the
Promoters pulled the plug, costing both Roy Williams and Henry Clark $10,000 apiece in fight purse's.

Later, Roy Williams demanded his $10,000 fight purse from Muhammad Ali, blaming him on the 'delay'.

When Muhammad Ali refused, Roy Williams called Ali a 'F***ing Faggot', and beat him up in the dressing room.

I answered the thread, unlike you...........who had 'no clue' who fought on the undercard..........

Read up on Roy 'Tiger' Williams and how Muhammad Ali 'screwed' him over.............'Ali the Snake'.
No, you turned this thread into a cartoon, but you know that because that was your intention.

Do you honestly believe this stuff, Duchess?

Or is this some sort of bizarre comedy act you are playing out?

I must admit I laughed out loud when I read it and pictured you typing it like it was real.

Fekking classic!

This is pure comedy gold, Duchess.

Just one quick question. Do these dreams you have help or hinder you while you are beating off?

I threw the towel in on this thread four days ago. Ennui caused me to check back. The time stamp proves my case.

His father was the well known 'entertainer' Liberace.

Not that there is anything wrong with that....

And for all the vitrol directed at Duce in this thread, he's the only one who made any attempt to address the original question of the post. Typical of these threads; everyone gets all worked up over his anti-Ali agenda, which I understand, but then he's the only one doing any research or adding anything meaningful to the threads. Waiting for Giancarlo to provide one scrap of content to a thread besides calling Duce "gay", which he has in like 337 different threads.

Il Duce wrote:Thanks Dart 340,

Unfortunately, the only time these 'Phonies' post anything, is in defense of Cassius Clay.....

They 'know' nothing about the good African Fighters in the 1970's......

Now that is a very personal defensive reaction. And cmon it's not like you are focused on provoking positive comments on the fighters you just named......is that honestly your intent? Good on you if so.

But C'mon DooChee

It appears to me, that in your estimation, any pro Ali comment or defensive statement in response to your "revelations" is "boat rocking" by you.

Does your disingenuous nature know no boundaries?

Dart. did he do anything other than take the record available on boxrec and string it out with a few of his own made up 'coments'?

Where's the value in that?

Especially given he is a known liar who has been banned from several boards for just that ie making stuff up.

Look, with all respect to Il Duce, I find the repetitive anti-Ali threads to be tiring. I understand that he's challenging what he sees as fabricated and distorted history, but at some point you are not going to convert those who either believe or those who are awaiting more evidence. I also find some of you to be just as bad by adding more fuel to the fire and constantly baiting Duce, and thereby escalating and encouraging the very thing you claim to be so angered by. All parties are guilty in my estimation. I generally just avoid the threads.

As far as Duce's contribution to this thread, he answered the question about who was on the undercard and did the research to an admirable degree. If you wanted to know who was on "The Undercard of The Rumble In The Jungle", he profiled the semi-main eventers in detail and no one else contributed one meaningful shred of info other than insulting him and screeching like little kids.

For me, Duce, I'd like to see more of what you did on the Humphrey McBride thread, which was good research that inspired some excellent posts and furthered the subject in question, although I'm sure baiting the Ali marks and going back and forth with them on ten different threads is probably a lot more fun.
