The board would say no regardless of the doctor's advice, but if the doctor says yes and she wants to fight then I can't see why not.

generally i go by if you have to ask then probably not

A lot of people have those without knowing about it from past injuries, sand in the eye, rugby balls, metal, sawdust, fibre glass, welding flux etc .... if she knows about it and obviously she does, maybe it is a little more than just a scratch .... if it impares vision even by a tiny percentage we know where that road goes. A head guard still doesn't stop an unlucky thumb to the eye
