Michael Gomez fights an unknown...

Newly-crowned WBU super featherweight champion Michael Gomez will make the first defence of his title on 22 May at the Kingsway Sports Centre in Widnes.
The Mancunian will fight Frenchman Bouziane Oudji.
Gomez claimed the WBU title earlier this month with a third-round stoppage of Ghana's Ben Odamattey.

This Danny Williams-George Kandelaki needed some more fights, where as the June 5th card is huge and Gomez wouldn't get live tv coverage.

He had to relinquish the british belt when he won the 'world' title. So what if he fights a nobody, when you consider the headliner gets to do so....
