Irish heavyweight contender Hughie Fury reckons he is still on course to be come the youngest ever World Heavyweight Champion. He faces his next test against Georgia's David Gegeshidze at the City Academy in Bristol on Friday night which is only his 12th professional fight. The fight is the chief support to Lee Haskins' British Bantamweight title defence against Jason Booth

Boxes at Bluewater on the DeGale undercard a week on Saturday too.

Fighting Danny Hughes on the 15th according to the man himself.

It's on Eurosport. Haskins is on at 8.30 so I guess Hughie may be shown after that either live or off tape

Hughie is scheduled to fight every week until Christmas, Peter Fury said on Twitter

It won't happen just because people are turning down fights with him.

Hughie is scheduled to fight at 7.30pm. I would expect Eurosport to show it live but we shall see.

Coverage on Eurosport is scheduled to start at 730pm so hopefully the Hughie Fury fight will be on first

The fight he went the distance from the clips on ringside he looked seriously gassed. Anyone see it full?

Hughie would do well to win anymore than the British title, I cannot see it myself. Really think he is over rated.

IMHO Anthony Joshua is a man and far more mature and along the ladder than Hughie, a slight step up in class for him next time out should suffice , no need to be silly and push this lad i don't think

You know mrpedigree, I thin Josh is better then Hughie it looks to me as if he has more about him, more composure and stands like a boxer. I think Joshua is going to be a big thing, but as you say the next few fights will prove what he's worth, and a step up should show us. After 2 fights I think he could beat Hughie, but no point at the moment, wait till there is a few pounds on the table. I can see Joshua going all the way. I hope im not dreaming and he turns out to be another fraud just like Audley Harrison

Lets remember the lad Fury is just 19 and fighting grown arsed men , where was me you or Joshua at that age ?
Maybe i am being kind ,But what i am saying is it a little early to compare him to older and much more mature fighter ?

Which version the the title would he have to win to be called the youngest ever? could he win a crappy title like IBU for instance.

I think Hughie might be fighting these bums a little too regular and he is probably getting lazy and bored in there.
I think he needs to step it up a little, he isnt learning anything fighting these guys and i dont think he is motivated.

Put him in with someone like Zach Page, Daniel Peret, Tom Little or Remigijus Ziausys.

he needs moving up i agree , but they should do it gentility , the kid still looks a god sake !
