That's right people, Midnight on Saturday is Benn-Eubank I and 10:30pm Sunday is Benn-Eubank II.

It's not a one off either. Bravo have been advertising the fact that they're going to start showing boxing for a while now.* Benn vs Eubank's a decent start.
*Not that i'm an avid viewer of this decidedly low-brow tv channel. I just found it highly amusing watching the Fash fc boys trying to play football.

good news, more taping me thinks, there are a couple of decent progs on here though apart, "Im with Busey" being quality viewing its an American Tv comedian doing a reality tv show knocking around with Gary Busey.
who is as mad as a hatter,

hilarious stuff though Busey is portrayed pretty badly in it but he is totally insane.
Watching a film star pick a bbq out of tip and grilling a roadkill (badger) and eating it claiming he is doing his bit in recycling the food chain will remain in my memory for long time.
try and catch it 7 pm ish i think

They're havingh a bit of a push at the moment. International footy too (all be it Australia/South Africa). Good luck to 'em. More sport is never a bad thing IMO.

Bravo have tried before with a few Conrelius Carr WBU fights (with Couch on the undercard). This was live boxing.
If I remember, they didn't do a bad job.

That was on Front Row not Bravo.
(Front Row was Cable TV's PPV service).

Yeah I remember that Carr PPV, what the hell was all that about? He fought.. let me just check... Dingaan Thobela? (didn't realise it was him). Cost about £6.99 didn't it?
Then a bit later they showed another PPV with Glenn Catley v Thobela in what was supposed to be a mismatch.

Didn't see it myself - but I don't have front row and my father said it was on Bravo.

Bravo in America. but all they show are old movies, and inside the actor's studio, I reckon not the same channel.
we also get this crappy BBCAmerica channel, which seems to be all about gardening and panzy shet.
oh well, enjoy the fights.

Gah - here I was, getting all excited about a non-premium) channel showing classic fight (ESPN Classics is part of the premium package in my area), only to find out that Bravo USA will continue showing that wanker pseudo-intellectual James Lipton fawning all over his celebrity actor guests for the foreseeable future. Pardon moi French, but fornicate!

vike as a "silicone warrior" you may well like the English Bravo channel theres usually a bit of silicone on display.
By the way how do you spend your day, fighting people with a set of fake breasts?
that is pythonesque!

"Silicon," J, not "Silicone." As in computer chips, not bathroom caulk and boob jobs. ;)

Bastards. I don't watch it all the time, but the matches are quality sunday viewing. Fash FC and a sunday Fry up, it doesn't get better than that

i've missed the odd week during the season but caught it most weeks

my favourite one was probably when they got knocked out of the cup

they were sitting in there dressing room at the end and the other team were banging on the dressing room wall "who r we fash fc who r we fash fc"

Bravo are showing the Gladiator programme aswell, so I assume they have bought the package from five - which will probably mean probox.

now i know full well im going to get the shit ripped out me for this but here goes.....
i seem to be the only person anywhere who doesnt think that benn v eubank 1 was a great fight. ive watched it on video many many times and can remember quite clearly watching it live, but just cant see what everyone goes on about. ok its a good fight, with plenty of action, but i just cant see it myself.
i sometimes get the impression with this fight that since it was screend at a time when terrestial boxing tv was at its peak (17m viewers?) and the hype surrounding both fighters was immense, especially the angle where everyone wanted to see benn do a number on eubank, that no matter what happened in this fight it would be considered a classic.
gents..... you are now free to rip the piss...

neil r: your mad mate its a bloody brilliant fight :x its a gr8 50/50 see saw battle that was up for grabs ending eubank finished benn in the 9th.
the 2nd fight i think is pretty awful far too much holding and too scrappy.

I've seen some of those. My God I can't stand that guy! The guests are sometimes pretty interesting but all that unprofessional back slapping from Lipton is so unnecessary. He's a presenter not a one man fan club and somebody should remind him! I think calling him a Pseudo-intellectual is a compliment!
Won't moan anymore!
