Got to be fair to Degale here, he is saying all the right things and if he can get that WBC title off Bika somehow, then it would make a nice contest down the line.
Either he fights Froch who should beat Groves - or let's say Groves pulls it off, then they rematch for the WBA, WBA and IBF titles next year.

Degale really need to fight somebody relevant after this fight on Saturday. I think he could be right in the miz but needs the right fights.

I thought Bika was fighting Dirrell.
I was in the crowd booing Degale in the Groves fight, but the more I see him the more I like him and I hope he steps it up and does well. I haven't watched much of Robert Stieglitz. Would you say Degale has a chance against him? I think a good step up for Degale at the moment would be Abraham, who was always limited and has definitely slipped but is still dangerous and brings the name that Degale needs on his resume. Abraham is more of a live dog at this stage of his career than Glen Johnson when Groves fought him, if we're going to compare the two fighters (which, lets face it we probably will for all of their careers and then after).
I still think Degale will win a title before Groves. Aint no way Groves is beating Froch. People have lost their minds over that one.

You mean the Bika that is fighting Anthony Dirrell? I have a feeling he's gonna lose that belt anyway. Cant Degale beating Dirrell either.

Degale's fitness levels have looked poor in recent fights and he needs to stop laying on the ropes taking shots, Froch would muller him.

Groves would ruin Degale if they fought again

Why? Do you think Groves has come on that much? Or that Degale has regressed?

Yes both in a way. I think Groves has come on leaps and bounds since their fight and Degale has hit a glass ceiling. I have seen little or no improvement in Degale since the loss. It's a shame as Degale started off so well. Perhaps he should go back to being promoted by Frank?

I think Froch beats him, but if DeGale could stay off the ropes he'd be in with a far better chance and if he hit harder I'd take him to beat Froch, but I don't think he has the power to hold him off.
