Wat a tool u r. Frankie wud not b short of sparring partners. His just on the look out for more. And different sparring also looking after the lads who r in his gym. Its no good sparring the same lads day in day out.

Exactly who better to spar if u hav a chance. Our only world am champ and current british champ any lads around his weight sud b jumping at the chance for a spar. U wud learn more in a 4 round spar than 10 pro fights with journeymen.

Very true. Depends how u look at it frankie is a possible world champ in the making. So if u do take the spar b realistic to your talent and enjoy the learning experience. Or keep well away.

I have sparring but wanted something different i struggle to get sparring with welters mainly light middles an middles spar me! Which is good but not ideal

Maybe I misunderstood your original post .
I agree sparring with a British Champ would be beneficial to any local up and coming boxers and you should be commended .
But if you are training for a fight I hope your manager supplies you with top quality sparring .
It also seems to be trend on this forum to resort to name calling if someone disagrees with certain posters .

Go to Frankies gym with your crayons and colouring book and get him to teach you English.

That seems like a fair post to me. Surely somebody in Team Gavin isn't doing their job completely and properly if Frankie's coming on here sounding out more sparring partners. He is obviously perfectly entitled to do it but if the British champ and future British star has a gap in his training it seems strange he has to make a direct appeal on a forum.

That said, I saw Jonathan Thaxton on another forum last week asking if anyone had a spare scart lead in the Norwich area that he could borrow for the night so I guess Frankie's not breaking new ground with his post.

Fair point, it just seems a bit strange to me. If I was the trainer this would make me feel like I maybe needed to pay more attention to my fighter.
