better off staying in Europe , HEavyweight boxing in America isnt exactly thriving so they cant be doing much to improve

hed be better going to europe for sparring if anything , camps with Klitshcos ect

He's headlining shows in the uk in front of thousands of people when he is just fighting journeymen. Why would he swap that to fight in front of 200-300 yanks who didn't even pay to be there.

If he goes stateside his biggest fight will be in about 3-4 years time against Wilder in front of about 3000 or he could stay in the UK and fight in front of 20,000 at the o2 on a reguar basis with maybe 2-3 stadium fights.

Some time in the US would be a good thing say a couple of months to enjoy a rest from the limelight and get some variety of input as to training. I agree about the fights though he will always be a bigger draw here.

Heavyweight sparring wise yes, but in terms of training America is the best, Joshua needs to learn his trade, he still looks a bit raw, he is a bit open and I am not sure about his power yet, the top guys in this country would beat him at present, but he has great potential, has not been boxing long, we can't read to much into his gold medal, he was not as convincing as Lewis, when Lewis dismantled Bowe in his Olympics, but he is still learning,so they don't want to rush him too quick, remember what happened to Price ?

If heavyweight training in America is the best where are all the Stateside stars ?
Anthony could have had every door over there opened for him by Lennox so why bother with Holmes ?

They are in the NFL.

Was about to say that, there is more money in Basketball and American football then boxing and you don't normally have to take blows.

He should go to Germany, they're the best at bringing pro heavies through these days.

Joshua has his team set up & they are dedicated!! If people offer to help you & give you advice only a fool would reject it. If I was Josh's trainer & larry Holmes wanted to give him a tutorial I'd be as eager to feed off him!!

I'm not sold on Wilder, I just don't see who else right now. And you make a decent point, but to be fair, has Holmes 'turned out a world champion', either? Maybe he did, but not that I'm aware of.
