What's the story on Stephen Smith, why did he begin his career in Germany, was he ex-army? Seemed to fight there for 4 years on and off, before coming back to England to resume his career?

Ooh. Good one Steve. No, seriously, Darkie Smith was training German fighters at the time (including Rudiger and Torsten May, Jerry Elliott and Zeljko Mavrovic), hence the German connection for Stephen.
