If you had to bet everything you own......

How do you see Froch vs Groves going? .....Personally I think it will be competitive and intriguing and both will have their successes but at some point between 6 and 12 I see Groves getting drilled with a big shot and his chin being his downfall. Thoughts?

I would risk it on a Groves upset .......I think its gonna be a tough job but no matter what my head says ...my gut is telling me George will surprise the doubters and produce something special (anything less wont cut it)

Much as I like Groves and hope Booth walks out with him Saturday, and much as I dislike Froch, unfortunately I see this as one way traffic. Perhaps like the Bute fight.

Sky are doing their best to try and readdress the balance as if it is a 50/50 fight but it is nowhere near that. Don't get sucked in.

Groves hasn't the power to keep Froch off him, Froch is so powerful I can see this one finished between 3 & 5. Groves is a talented lad but this is far too early for him.

People keep saying that but I wouldnt want to see the fight when Froch is potentially "shot" or over the hill. I do agree though that it would of been better for Groves to of fought Stieglitz or Abraham to prove he can compete at this level first.

I don't own much so I'd lump it on Groves since I fancy him to do it.

My meagre savings would go on a Froch win by stoppage before the halfway point.

Do you think his chin will hold up though mate? He's shown quite a few vulnerabilities in that regard throughout his career. By all regards he was knocked out a fair few times as an amateur and Anderson had him all over the place and Smith buzzed him pretty bad at the end of the round. Even when he fought Sierra he seemed to get rocked at one point. If his chin was better id pick him but he reminds me of Bute, Skillful, fast, big punchers but who are somewhat fragile.

Anderson had him on the floor, having watched it back, against Smith, he took a flush right hand, then got his hands up and covered up for a second or two until the bell, then walked back to the corner and looked very steady on his legs, waited for the stool and sat down, I think it's been blown a bit out of proportion that one, I haven't seen the Sierra fight so I can't comment on it. But, Froch by his own admission was rocked badly by Robin Reid, to the point where he wasn't sure where he was walking on the way back to the corner and had to use the ropes for support, was dropped by Taylor and Kessler rocked him last time out, so he can be hurt and Groves hits hard enough to do that. I don't know what it is, but I've got one of those feelings about this fight that Groves will pull off the upset.

I would bet the farm on Groves losing his game plan around rounds 6 and 7 and getting into a tear up and getting put to sleep

Froch is going to win.

Groves starts better - rocks froch early. Around the third Froch starts landing more frequently. By the fifth or sixth Groves has had the resistance punched out of him.

He's going to leg it by the way you can see on the pad clips he's doing he's not hanging around, he'll try and box and move but Froch's at times leaky defence will be too much of a draw for him and he'll get excited and drawn in.

I expect the final moments to look something like Thompson Haye.

Froch win, around 4-8.

Think the hype has turned a 80-20 fight into 50-50 through no real logic at all!!

Everything I own - Froch

Calculated value - Groves

I've backed Groves to win @ 4s and may have a tickle on him for the stoppage.

This.

Still hope it's wrong.

I'll be betting a small amount on groves, force me to bet large and I'd switch to froch

Froch by stoppage in the 9th. Groves will be on his bike for most of the fight with little ambition shown. Froch will break him down and finish it off by the 9th.

Going the way of Lucien Butte. Froch to have Groves down and hanging on in the first. Stopped early in the second.

Monday newspapers calling the fight a mis-match and Boxrec members questioning why we all fell for the big hype necessary to make it PPV.

Please come back on Monday to tell me I'm a clown and I know nothing about boxing. ( by the way I firmly believe that Eubanks jnr could handle Groves right now). Groves is a media creation.

Froch stoppage.

Since the Haye fight has been called off all my accumulators complete with this one, I have a LOT riding on this. Gonna be nervous but I fully expect Froch to do the business in six rounds.

Same as me. Wasn't that bothered about the fight when it was first made as thought it would be a walk in the park for Froch and a bit early for Groves who I was hoping would fight Steiglitz first. Obviously the hype machine has taken hold a bit and also I think Groves is a much better boxer than he is being credited for. I think he tries to box at range which has made me think an upset wouldn't be as big a shock as I originally felt.

Sorry mate, if you firmly believe Eubank jr could handle Groves right now then you need help. That is one of the most ridiculous statements I have EVER read on here.
