You do realise he has gained a lot of money just due to the promotion of this fight and whether the shoulder was serious or not surely any type of surgery would make him miss the Feb 8th date.

I don't care for Haye much but I wasn't sure if the thread yesterday was real or sarcastic with P. Fury getting talked up like some kind of oracle that knew Haye wouldn't come near Fury.

If the injuries are genuine, which they are, it doesn't give Haye much room to comeback from stupid comments like he didn't fancy the fight - because he isn't fit to prove otherwise! Haye could bash Fury to the body or head and find a stoppage - or outbox and outwork him to a points win. If the shoulder's fixable, I think the attention will be too much for him to stay away - that said, the longer he's out, the better chance for Fury in any potential future fight, but I say that simply because Fury hasn't finished maturing and the size difference. If they were the same size, Haye could come back any time he wanted and have him. That's my view - and although I had minimal interest in the fight I definitely preferred Fury to win out the two.

Go and watch the ifilm videos with Peter at the time of the original postponement. It wasn't what he said, but how he said it. He looked bored with Haye and more or less said that he would rather forget about him and get on with Tyson's career as he has no intention of fighting him. He was pretty spot on.
