A mate told me about this on twitter but apparantly according to Jane, Haye and Booth own a percentage of Ifilm and also she believes all this stuff about Haye being in hospital and having shoulder and the cut, etc, is a load of crap. I know Jane used to post on here so maybe she can enlighten us if she wants to.

Jane was having a laugh. Ifilm are just a vehicle for Hearn.

I Film do it better than Jane ever did. Jealous maybe?

They show an awful lot of Matchroom stuff, but let's be honest its also because they have the most going on. The other main promoter threatened legal action against them. Though they do interview a fair few of the smaller promoters boxers, getting them some exposure.

This, that interview she did with Andre Ward was just embarrassing.

I think Couch was on twitter alleging IFilm tried to sell a documentary with Eddie Hearn and Yassine El-Maachi in it behind Hearns back which is was started the beef.

The problem is that Jane Couch is mostly drunk when she does interviews, her speech is a bit slurred and she flirts too, which spoils the interview.

They also cover charity events and retirement dinners.
Jane's films while funny never very informative.
The Eddie in jokes are getting a bit boring.

They are. Kugan ought to be a lot more neutral. Helder is the better interviewer - Kugan misses the chance out loads of questions he should be asking.

I like Helder. Whilst Kugan isnt a bad guy by stretch I dont think, I get the feeling Helder is probably the better all round guy aswell.

Helder is the best of he two ifl interviewers I like Kugan but he isn't the sharpest both are way better than Jane Couch though.

Does Jane even still do interviews as much? I subscribed on YouTube but not had alot of content lately just the Haskins vs Booth stuff and Fury.

I like what iFilm do I have been to smaller hall shows and they rep there Richard Poxon, David Coldwell, Micky Helliet and Goodwin shows.

They do alot with Matchroom as they have got alot going on with pressers/weigh in's etc

I say keep up the good work and there both good at what they do.

Kugan and Hearn's bromance does get abit boring sometimes, although business sense Kugan interviewing gets the most views, and YouTube is about views. As for Booth and Haye being involved that doesn't make sense to me. I believe they are both astute enough with property etc. not to mentioned Haye's hefty bank balance.

iFilm interview Hearn so often because he puts on so many more bills than the likes of Mr Warren at the moment. Obviously this week it has gone a bit OTT with them having him on nigh on every day but then they are much shorter interviews than the usual half hour affairs. Also with the number of fighters Matchroom have there is usually quite a few questions that fans want answered every few weeks so actually I quite like watching the interviews they do. I can't say I have ever thought to myself 'Christ they are struggling for things to talk about here' until this week.

Also people can say it is a coduit for Matchroom. Hearn sees what a valuable marketing tool IFL tv is and thus he uses it. I don't think IFL would say no if one of the other promoters contacted them every few weeks and said 'do you wanna come and interview me, I'll let you know what we are up to.' I don't think anyone can disagree that Hearn uses it to answer the questions fans might have while another promoter, naming no Wa rrens......I mean names, just seemed to use it to get his emails out and slag off the other promoters.

People can call it cringeworthy, but at the end of the day we all watch it don't we and I prefer hearing that fights are trying to get made via the promoter rather than the way it was on here 10 years back with Spud talking in riddles and tapping his nose.

We might have to make a poll at some point to determine what was more of a regular occurrence. Johnny Nelson's American accent, or Mr Warren's emails being whipped out his back pocket.

I used to feel a little short changed when Helder was interviewing he lacked a bit of confidence but he has come on loads and the Iron horse outings upped my estimation of him.
Still like Kugan though he was a little bit mardy when I said hello at a dinner but I was pissed and he looked tired.
I think he has got them up to where there at with the connections from his Hatton days and giving Eddie the odd blumpy wont have hurt...well it might have.

Bit off topic but I cannot stand that little melt who does the Sun video's appalling don't know his name cant be fucked to Google it he is shit.IMO

I remember there was a funny moment in one of their interviews between Hearn and Kugan I think it was at the last Hull show and some fan just walked right into shot, drunk and just goes 'Eddie and Kugan. 2 ugly bastards!' and then walks off.

More amusing than Gareth Davies stumbling into their interviews going on about his shoes anyway. I think the last time he did it he said Kugan wasn't a real journalist (he might not be, but it was a bit of an arsehole thing to say I thought) got a pair of blank looks from Eddie and Kugan and then just left before Kugan said 'anyway where were we....' and carried on with the interview like nothing had happened.

Did you think the same as me that he came across as a bit of a prat?
