Tyson is an emotional character so I think there's a good chance that he'll change his mind.

no chance just hios usual emotional rollercoaster-he must be manic depressive. As for getting opponents I sympathise it seems the heavies don't want to fight each other amongst the top ten with a few notable exceptions eg Chisora.

Fury was offered a fight with one of the Klitschkos after the Chisora fight and (rightly so) didn't take it. He also swerved Price, so it's not like he and Mick are whiter than white.

It's just gonna take some time to get an opponent for Feb 8th. I expect it to be someone like Manuel Charr. I expect someone like Tony Thompson would ask for big money and for that it would need Sky (not Box office) backing or to be able to fill the MEN arena or possibly both. I may be wrong but I do not think Channel 5 stump up anywhere near the money that sky do and also I do not think Fury is capable of filling a 20k arena the same way Haye was.
It's a bit of a naff situation but I doubt anyone believes he is retiring. He'll be back.

If Fury quits boxing what will he do? Go in the jungle? He won't quit.

Just like he said he'd never consider fighting David Haye after the first pull out.

Usual illiterate, badly written tat from a bloke who talks utter bollocks 24/7.
The delusional ponce will still fight, its all a ruse for self promotion. Hope he chooses Wilder and gets KTFO. Really had enough of his moronic comments.

Whether its an emotional comment or not he is clearly unhappy about the state of things, and it says a lot when a fighter who will literally fight anyone (we'll forget Price) makes comments like this.
i wonder how many other pro's are disillusioned with the sport, at least he is not afraid to say it out loud i guess

Fight Chisora at the Copper Box show on Feb 1st. A fairly straight forward fight to make surely.

A lot i would guess far too much manoeuvering and manipulation around these days and the H/W division is especially bad. This is hurting boxing and therefore everyone in the sport long term.

I bet he still regrets not having bragging rights on David Price I honestly believed he was sensible to swerve Price at the time.Who knew

I thought it was all to do with his TV deal, but all of a sudden he can fight on Sky Box Office.

Funny that isn't it.
He is a moron I dont hate him as much as I used too as he does seem to be trying his best.
Its just that its not very good and he is falling into the believe your own hype and you will fulfil it trap.
He tweets as if he is the Dalai Lama profound lessons for his follwers to digest and gain enlightenment from.
But im sure he gets most of it from the tear off calendar on uncle Pete's desk each day.
He's not very good and talks too much deadly combo in any walk of life.

To say hes not good is a bit harsh he is a world ranked heavyweight top 10 in all the sanctions and has beaten some good opponents. Hayes best win at heavyweight was beating chisora someone fury beat when he was 21 and when chisora was undefeated and i know he was over weight but so was fury.
