If I'm being honest, I came into this a big froch fan and thought groves was a bit of a pleb.
but the more talking thats happened in the build up to this, the less i like carl froch.
the guy does deserve respect for what he's done in his career, but the way he talks about himself at times is pathetic, does he think he should be worshipped.
and the childish bit? if anyone has been childish it's froch, as was highlighted at the press conference today.
groves has gotten the better of him repeatedly and froch resorts to thesaying his breath stinks, groves makes a relevant point that froch doesn't have an answer to and he talks about the colour of his shorts.
froch refusing to answer groves questions today was a blatant cop out.

i still reckon froch has too much. but i'd absolutely love it if groves clipped him early and took him out. take him down a peg or two

If not worshipped then he feels he ought to be revered.

Froch won't consider answering anything that will highlight his contradictions.

Well spotted chiggsy; it must be fuckin hell living with him for all his money  I'd have thrashed the computer if he'd compared his trials to Nelson Mandela, he's gone up his own bum that one and make no mistake.

Froch has really painted himself in a bad light. I'm from Carl's neck of the woods but I'll be supporting George on fight night.

Froch's claims that George has been 'childish, disrespectful etc' are incorrect and completely hypocritical. Does he not remember the 5 years he spent demeaning Joe Calzaghe in an attempt to get a fight with him?!?!

After watching the 15min interview he did sound like a complete knob, surprised he had his head out of his arse long enough to do the whole interview.

I've had enough of this fornicating pudendum, hopefully Groves smashes him to bits, breaks his nose, jaw and ribs, knocks his teeth out and ends his career, the man is a fornicating prick, deserves every bit of pain he gets.

I am a big Froch fan but I can see how people get rubbed up the wrong way. Like I said in another thread I am one of those people who notices patterns in peoples behaviour and the guy commented above on him always using the phrase 'warrior.' The funniest moment in the build up to this fight was when they were having a face off with Johnny Nelson between them while they talked and Carl went 'you go through the opponents I have faced, from winning the World title against Jean Pascal.....' and George then just cut him off and goes 'right I'll stop you there before you go listing EVERY opponent you've ever faced again...'

I have to concede I did laugh quite hard at that one from George.

I think you can be a fan of his approach and how he boxes but still think he's a dick; and he is a proper cock, Groves is far sharper and has played a good pre fight game with the cards stacked ; I hope he wins Saturday in a big way and I think he can.

Groves is being childish, yet Froch resorts to telling him he has bad breath, twice.

I used to be a Froch fan but since he joined Matchroom his ego has taken over, he's probably the most unlikable British boxer around these days, including Khan, at least Khan seems human Froch comes across as an egotistical, arrogant and humourless twat and his banter is shit.

I think he can win, backed him in the betting stakes too. Nothing has changed my opinion from the first day the fight was made. I don't like to say that people are scared etc but I think as the weeks have gone on, froch has got more rattled and it shows by acting like a knob

But at least he doesn't put on a tracksuit and an overcoat like Froch; that's disrespectful to himself and to the fashion companies that sponsor him. It's like he hasn't a clue or got dressed in the dark.

funny that, if you listen to froch, you'd think we were all looking forward to him smashing the cheeky, immature, disrespectful, arrogant, pathetic groves face in.

that was another thing that jumped out at me there.
was there any need for him to crawl so far up hearns asshole there

i'd have cracked up if eddie had walked over during that interview and in his best bricktop voice, said "pull your tongue out of my arsehole carl, dogs do that, you're not a dog, are you carl?"

Is hazard a guess that Carl will eventually become fast cars wingman. Much like Bernard Hopkins is with Oscar De la hoya. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest

And for my two cents worth regarding the card. It's quite simply, utter shit!

froch has never had an engaging personality. used to listen to him as an amatuer and he came across as a tosser even then. ....but , he has walked the walk, he's a proven warrior who has gone into the lions den and come out intact. first and foremost he's a fighter, not a media darling. i want to see froch fight , not talk. fortunately froch is good at fighting, and unlike a lot of well liked british fighters, he doesnt duck challenges and claim to be the best

He is the biggest warrior on this planet and in honesty on most planets. Come on eh guys give the guy the credit he deserves. He is a true hero and a inspiration to millions all over the world

He's not the messiah, he's a very boring boy!

Calzaghe wouldve whipped him. Froch's best win was against an aging Kessler, and even that was hard work.
