I think Andy Lee and Mathew Mackiln are boxing each other in Ireland on st Patrick's day so you can count him out.

Lee v Macklin should be a fun fight.
Geale v jnr or Soliman would be good while he waits for the winner of Barker v Sturm

I think Geale giving another Aussie a crack is good for Aussie boxing.
Geale Vs Winner of Sherro/Soliman
Geale Vs Fletcher
Geale Vs Winner Hogan/Bryant
Geale Vs Talipeau
Any of the above theres possibly a couple more local options also. Either way a win for Geale keeps him active and in the mix with the top guys, if he was to be upset by one of the above and it would have to be described as an upset it then pushes another aussie into the top brass of middleweights which clearly aint a bad thing!

Geale is a world champion level fighter, he has earned the right to move forward on the international scene, nulike chic, so he doesnt need to fight any of those local guys, except soliman, and only if its an eliminator
Geale should fight GGG, his come forward high rate style would pose problems GGG hasnt seen for a while and a win over him would have him back on top.

Geale has proven he is world class. There's no doubt about that. Hopefully he can get another title crack late next year. But he will need an impressive win or two first to set that up.

Fletcher would have to be the preferred choice and is available and says he wants the big fights winner would likely get a world title shot

Fletcher has the ranking too. Good call.

Please, fletchers best win to date has been over Bryant. dont get me wrong his a good domestic MW with a possible future at international level, but the one time he did try to step up to international level he got stopped inside 2 rounds.
Maybe one day, but to date he has not done anything that would warrant a fight with Geale.

Except he has the rating and provides Geale with a no fuss fight to get him back on the winning list. If Geale can't get a better fight Fletcher is a feasible option.

The purse just isnt enough for geale i dont think. Geale isnt young, he only has a couple of year to make the maximum amount of cash possibe. He would be lucky to get 50k for fighting fletcher. He need sto fighter Barker again, or GGG or Quilin or even Martin Murray

True but he still needs a fight before having a crack at a belt , barker rematch would be the best way to go

I seen Geale has been rated high in the WBA since his loss to Barker. Maybe he wants to take on GGG and prove he is a true champ that don't run and also he said he wants his WBA belt back. I'd rather see him fight GGG then rematch Barker.
Fletcher would be a good fight before a championship title.

Felix Sturm is out there again holding a belt for Daniel to chase, as Darren Barker has now lost his IBF middleweight title to the German.
The 31-year-old Londoner was twice knocked to the canvas, then trainer Tony Sims threw in the towel to end the ordeal in round 2. For more info:

News is Barker hurt his hip pretty bad in the fight.Maybe a dislocated hip they are saying, rematch would have to take place in 90days that won't happen now,So Geale Sturm next looks likely now.

He's fighting Sherro isn't he? Geale has only fought twice this year last in August. Barker might be retiring according to his trainer. Geale should have thought Soliman to stay busy and for his #1 ranking.
