Pretty sure Virgil hunter said Ward wont be going to 175 for awhile. He said something the lines of he's a naturally slim kid and he'd need time to bulk up to move up.

Kessler would be decent , but what does he bring these days? GG can KO him if he lands the shot that hit Froch round 1.

He brings bums on seats, great entertainment for all, A few quid for George, Esteem - if George gets the victory (which I'd expect), Potentially the biggest name on Groves Record. Kessler vs Groves would get viewed in the US and all over Europe.

I understand you are talking belts, but he can continue to be dodged until he 'officially' beats a fighter held in a similar regard to Kessler.

As ive said in another thread, id like to see the Groves-Degale rematch. I think they'd make a ton of money from it as the needle would be even worse second time around I think.

Disagree totally, DeGale's career is going nowhere. He needs Groves or a big name opponent badly. Groves does not need Degale at all. What will he gain from it? Nothing, there is not going to be a World title on the line.

Im pretty sure that Groves-Degale 2 would be PPV too. Especially if they really amped up the bad blood and the trash talking.

I cannot see it being PPV, the fight was close but Groves rightfully got the win. A rematch wont excite enough people to buy the PPV.

Nah this is all wrong - nobody is watching DeGale and he's on terrestrial TV at sociable hours. Groves isn't a PPV draw on his own... nobody wants DeGale and the backstory is all moot once Groves got the first W - we're just going over the same stuff as last time but now we know Groves is better.

I have to agree with this. Lots may not like it but I do.

Groves is the current darling after the weekend but that's not enough to make him have what it takes to beat Ward. He'd cause him some problems but SOG is the very, very best.
