Didn't see anybody else mentioning this, but during the fight I remember thinking that Froch kept looking towards his corner. Did anybody else notice it? I hadn't really seen him do it before during his fights.

Usually it's a sign of a fighter who has run out of ideas and is in distress and they're looking to the corner as if to say either "what do I do", or "don't worry, I'm ok" or "get me out of here". He seemed to do it after the knockdown also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHwPTe3hJ50

Maybe he thought Eddie might be in his corner given he kept looking to him throughout the build up? At one point around the 5th or 6th round Froch was looking over and I thought maybe McCracken was going to throw in the towel.

He was looking to his corner in the Ward fight.

Groves mentioned in the build up that Froch needed constant reassurance, he looked lost at times v Groves and looking to the corner is seen as a sign of distress normally.

Yeah what a wimp that Froch is.

He may have become confused when Groves wasn't hitting him cleanly. Froch probably gets upset when someone misses him with a punch,

I don't think McCracken's got a towel!

I noticed him looking across at one point, can't remember what round. He also sits down and mumbles something between rounds 6 and 7 prompting McCracken to say "what"........"F*ck me!" came the reply. Froch didn't enjoy that 6th round.

Didnt Froch have severe confidence issues when he was an amateur and even in the early stages of his pro career? I'm pretty sure that was something that Mccracken had to work on in a big way.

I often wondered if it was what his lass was bellowing out...she does get quite animated at ringside. Not sure it does him any favours TBH.

This is true and for me is one of the things that makes his record so impressive.
