And Froch stuck in there for another 9 rounds trying to grind the young lion down, taking huge right hands every round.... Dude is a proper beast.
GG looked pretty tired and bruised up for a kid that was coasting to victory....Groove Armada wrote:As someone said. But he hung in there, I guess.
Froch is tough, but it's not good for long term health.
Yep. I didn't need convincing of Froch's recuperative ability but he proved it again. Tough bloke.DMA1987 wrote:I can well imagine that punch KO's 95% of the guys out there. I'm talking out cold.

Ive been saying the same. If you look at Froch's eyes on the replay on his way down, he actually does look like he's momentarily "out".DMA1987 wrote:I can well imagine that punch KO's 95% of the guys out there. I'm talking out cold.

I think the tide has turned though; Froch got the win in a very controversial way, he utterly dismissed Groves as been not in his league and was arrogant and disrespectful following the bout. The crowd turned on him and many watching will have warmed to Groves and his effort, disappointment and honesty. I imagine that the fight will have had a worse effect on Froch - he took an awful lot of very hard punches and any rematch will mean he is 6 months older, another training camp and with the effects of this bout. I reckon the odds on Groves will have dropped a lot next time and he will not be coming out to boo's. Froch won the fight but Groves will win the battle - he will be a very very popular and well supported champion - FRoch is a millionaire on the back of his fighting ability and in spite of his personality - Groves will make tons of money because of his ability and his personality.lillywhite14 wrote:And wonGroove Armada wrote:As someone said. X2; he is a very strong, determined and tough nob head.lefthook82 wrote:Don't know how he got up from that
Really really dislike Froch but you have to rate elite level toughness like that
