Both can take some punishment but I'd have to say Froch.
I dunno. Kessler, Groves and Abraham all can/could seriously whack aswell.NazNaci1 wrote:Eubanks.
He took some cracking shots, in his time. Chin was a solid as they come. Nigel Benn and 'The Cat' were tremendous bangers. Tremendous.
So you're saying that your boy Groves doesn't have tremendous power?Groove Armada wrote:Eubank easily!TopGun wrote:Both can take some punishment but I'd have to say Froch.
You ever seen him hurt the way Froch was on Saturday?
Eubank has been down u usually when tired and not really hurt.
The shot that Calzaghe dropped him with wouldnt of dropped Froch IMO.Groove Armada wrote:Eubank easily!TopGun wrote:Both can take some punishment but I'd have to say Froch.

I think it does to be fair, Eubank didn't see it coming and Froch is hardly known for his reflexes, he'd get up though, but continue taking a beating until McCracken threw the towel in.columbo wrote:The shot that Calzaghe dropped him with wouldnt of dropped Froch IMO.Groove Armada wrote:Eubank easily!TopGun wrote:Both can take some punishment but I'd have to say Froch.

Not sure I would bracket any of those with Benn and Thompson. Remember Thompson was a very hard punching CW, too.columbo wrote:I dunno. Kessler, Groves and Abraham all can/could seriously whack aswell.NazNaci1 wrote:Eubanks.

Henry Wharton took shots off Benn and Eubank that would have felled a tree. One in particular from Benn was frightening.95gerog wrote:I don't ever remember seeing eubank really dazed or shaky. Both phenomenal chins. Id say Eubank has the edge. Benn was a Gigantic puncher, an absolute beast.
Aye, but if he was from Ghana he'd have been teak tough.NazNaci1 wrote:Wharton was freaking tough too!
He went toe to toe with Eubanks, Benn and Reid. Great chin and great puncher too dating back to his amateur days.
