Be interesting to see if it makes him any better. Sometimes I think that fighters like John McDermott may not be as good if they were lean, and they may lose a little punch resistance. May be a silly theory but I often wonder whether they would perform better.

People who crash diet usually lose a lot of muscle first.

He looks better for sure but that head like Jupiter is going nowhere

Shame for Chisora that he's in the best shape of his career and there's no huge fight or title on the line for him. Hopefully he can maintain this level of fitness. I've warmed to Del a bit more since listening to his trainer Don Charles speaking a few times on the Boxing Asylum podcasts. Might even start rooting for him.

Chisora is aright, always good to watch, throwback heavyweight!

Good, honest heavyweight. I don't think I've ever seen him try to BS anyone in interviews or exaggerate his abilities. Pretty much willing to fight anyone too. Apart from a couple of lackluster performances against spoiling journeymen, he's always put everything into his fights too (even if he didn't put in the training properly). I reckon that for those of us who can look past the various nonsense incidents outside the ring - we'll be able to look back at his career fondly once he retires.

I like Del, I seen him outside the Landmark one day with one of his mates and ran up to/after him asking for a photo and he was glad to. I then met him outside the Emirates one night and spoke to him for a cpl of minutes whilst walking.

the new and improved delboy could cause a shock or two down the line, as he is a far better fighter than his record would suggest.

Del is capable of giving Wlad a rough fight.

Based on his appalling outing last time, Wlad can't deal with any sort of workrate any more from game fighters (not that he was ever comfortable with pressure). Put a referee in there who can actually do his job and if Del didn't win, he would be busy and make it damn close.

It been progressive though. He's been looking slightly better in every fight

I'm a fan. He's funnier than Fury and less of a preening tool than Haye. And he's been in some of the divisions very best early in his career. Yeah, he lost to Fury who is now top 10, but who has Fury fought? In the mean time Chisora has fought Helenius, Vitali and Haye. He may have lost, but he's learned more in those losses than other contenders with all their wins against nobodies. He needs to work on his power. I like his head movement and with less weight he should be faster.

At least he fights regularly unlike some of our heavies-for that at least respect.

del boy looks good , the thing stopping chisora from being a world champ is that he doesn't throw many shots when he gets in range in the pocket as people now say ,his head movement and pressure was great vs vitali he just didn't let his hands go . i'd love to see chisora vs willder to see what would happen after about 6 rds to see if wilder is for real or hype.

I bet he would drop his EBU belt in a heartbeat for shot at wilder's 0. it would be an intresting contest, reckon chisora has the style to give him all sorts of problems.
