European super-bantamweight champion Esham Pickering makes the first defence of the title he won back in Janaury when he stopped Italian Vincenzo Gigliotti in impressive style. Also on the bill is former amateur star David Haye.

Be interested to see Haye fight. See if he has improved much yet.

Probably not, his last decent fight was in 2001 - Odlandier Solis.

Harsh comment! You can't expect him to be fighting equivalent status professional fighters this early into his career.

I always manage to miss the boxing on BBC. Their scheduling of it just seems so bloody random. And then when it is on they feature fragmented fights and irritating commentary. They'd be better off giving boxing a bye if they have no plans to up the ante of their coverage.

I usually miss it too, or hear about it half way through. Shoddy timing and inept commentary, i'll miss them

Another fighter whos career started to bloom after leaving Sports Network,wonder if Witters will do the same

I do sometimes, in fact the only time I ever know if somethings on is if there's a heads up on here. Sometimes fights are on that they don't even bother to add to the tv schedule on their boxing web-page.

U heard about Itv getting interresting in boxing again since they lost the rights to show the premiership? Apparently some major promoters in britain are interested according to boxing monthly............

I can't wait to see Haye fight this guy. Maybe a bit too ambitious for him at the moment though considering the opposition hes mixed with since turning pro. I would like to see him get his stamina tested first against some durable or potentially dangerous domestic guys. IMO the Swaby fight would have been a good one and Delaney also, if he hadn't have been injured last year (although he's now retired after Macarinelli fight has he not??)

Hope Pickering puts a convincing show on too, as I was very impressed by his performance lasttime out.

I think Haye can win on points, but Williams is likely to be wiley and tough.

If Haye shows too much bravado or keeps his left hand low, he might have his head handeed to him.

VERY intriguing fight.

Put your prospects in competetive fights.

Surely Kenna vs Krence should be promoted to an English title bout given Skelton's British title win.

Its as good a match as any.
