I wasn't aware Ricky was hitting the ale hard again. Bit sick reading this as I thought he'd got himself together and cut the booze binges out as he's been looking fresh on TV. Sad as well that he's still not got things sorted with his mam n dad.

Don't think he got the closure he wanted from his comeback - just was all wrong. I do wonder if what Brook did to Schenkenko might have affected Hatton's mindset - as Hatton gave Schenkenko a chance and has been calling him geniune world class since his own fight.

One look at his twitter says it's bollocks. When he was supposedly out of it he was taking his family to the Christmas markets and managed to remember it was Paulie Malignaggi's birthday and it was 5 years to the day since their fight.

To be fair though mate, was there actually pictures of that? Ricky might of been tweeting stuff like that to protect his own back so to speak.

Teddy's Toupee saw him the other week at an amateur show with his mum and his son and said he looked well.

His mum was at the show. I didn't see her and Ricky together at any time. He looked a bit ruddy-faced but that might've been down to him looking a fair bit over his fighting weight rather than the ill-effects of booze. By the way, the kid from the club I help out at beat Ricky's lad on a majority decision, although it could have gone either way to be honest.

If you were working for me, and I was giving my dad the money to pay you, but you said you weren't getting it, but my dad said you were I'd believe my dad. I'd then be pretty pissed if it went as far as court before me dad told me he wasn't paying you.
