May not be the same ilk as Sturm/Barker and the good 2 US cards on Saturday but there are some interesting fights never the less.

Maccarinelli/Fry, Enzo looked ok against McKenzie in the 2nd fight, not sure what he has left but he is rarely in a boring fight and this should be
the case Saturday as well. Not sure where Fry is in his career he has not fought for over a year, be interesting to know what sort of shape he is in, he was always
a decent boxer, could be interesting if he is well up for it.

Smith/Thompson, I thought Beefy was quite impressive against Ochieng and still think there might be some improvement to come from him. Thompson is always busy in a
fight and the first 4 rounds could be quite decent, he can fade though and Smith seems to keep a decent pace up and I could see him getting to Thompson in the 2nd half of the fight.

Ormond/Matthews, really looking forward to this one, could actually be the fight of the night despite some of the cracking matchups on other bills, both men like to come forward and Derry
is never in a boring fight recently. Ormond is a strong one and I can see him giving Derry a lot of problems in this fight.

Also got Selkirk/Heffron and Butler/Montoya, not a bad card entertainment wise, be something to keep us all amused whilst waiting for Sturm/Barker I reckon.

A victory here for Smith puts him in a good spot for a crack at Sergey Rabchenko early next year. Shouldnt be too hard a fight to make either.

Very decent bill. Just checked and Fry is 38 now! Decent boxer but even Enzo should be able to survive this with his chin intact
Thompson can definitely test Smith early on but like you say I expect Smith to take over later on a win a fairly comfortable decision.
Think Matthews will come through in a tough one, like you say it's bound to be a decent fight

And Selkirk is stepping up

Rabchenko is manadatory for the WBC Light Middleweight Title which should become vacant soon. Doubt he will fight Smith anytime soon.

Decent card this. Agreed.

Think Enzo will eventually catch up with Fry for a mid to late rounds stoppage but Fry is a live outsider. Smith will eventually chew Thompson up inside 8 rounds but it will be fun while it lasts.

Derry will lose to Ormond and ring Dave Coldwell and Eddie.

Probably saw what happened to his brother and thought better of it!

Hope they get a decent opponent for Selkirk. Heard he hits hard for the weight. Craig Evans is a talented boxer but needs to move on from Boxing journeymen. Hopefully see him kick on next year.

Is Enzo still on the bill today's allegedly advert don't mention him when they talk about what they are covering?

Massively dissapointed with his progression, I really rated him highly as a fighter & in the ams thought he'd be suited better then anyone for the pro game! But he lives in Spain,it doesn't look like he's going hungry & is way behind on schedule & not sure if he will make up for lost time.
