There was never any doubt about Tito, Oscar & Calzaghe, but I was happy to see Mike O'Dowd finally make it. They have been getting some of the long forgotten guys in.

Eddie Booker not being on the ballot is what pisses me off the most now. Who do you think is the most glaring omission?

Ernesto Marcel should be in. Hilario Zapata, Esteban De Jesus, and Eddie Booker, of course. How about Del Flanagan?

Don't you think that some of the guys from the pioneer and categories have gotten in because of the passing of time. I'm a massive fan of the old time guys, but there are people in the IBHOF that don't belong IMO. In another 100 years, who will they be inducting from those two categories? In 100 years will they be looking back at Vinny Paz and Michael Moorer and deciding which guy gets in?

Pioneer: last bout in or before 1892
Old Timer: last bout no earlier than 1892 or before 1943

The IBHOF hasn't existed for very long(built in 1989) they're going to run out people from these categories soon.

There are still a few fighters from this era that should be in, or you could at least make an argument for. You are right though, at a certain point in the future you would think these categories should be eliminated.

I do think the guys that got elected were good choices. No problem with any of them; which is not always the case.

As for the orignal question, I always go back to Eddie Mustapha Muhammad and Rodrigo Valdes. Eddie's peers have been in for a long time already.

Something I have always wondered is exactly how someone is elected. Who votes, how many people votes, what % of the vote do you have to get in?
