It was an odd comeback fight tbf.

An incredibly out of shape guy, who is nearly 6'10 with a good knockout % but also a lot of defeats.

A guy who also gave Kubrat Pulev a tough night until he got DQd for repeated elbows, which seemed a bit tight given the size difference.

Price had nothing to gain and was giving up height, reach and weight.

It was a potential banana skin and I don't believe for a minute another Booth fighter pulling out 5 days before a fight with an invisible injury is genuine :TU:

It makes Booth's 'joke' on Twitter last week about Price being petrified every time he gets tagged in sparring look less and less like a 'joke' ...

I think he is genuinely ill. Price strikes me as a guy in his more recent interviews who just wants to get his career back on track as quickly as possible. For all the flaws that he does have, being scared to get into the ring doesnt seem to be one of them. Regarding them not fancying the opponent, well I imagine him and Booth would of had a big say in the choice of the opponent so I dont buy that one. I think the guy does have a virus. There's a lot of it going about at the minute.

Could well be tbf.

I am just highly sceptical of anything Booth is involved with.

He is quite an odd man.

Someone who if things had panned out differently might be running Millionaire Mindset Mentorship programmes :OhYes:

I guess if the fight is rescheduled and takes place then it was honest.

Let's wait and see ...

Price's career is over in this country. Too many good lads coming through and he hasnt a chance in hell with any of them. He hasnt the balls to defend his British title so he vacates it. That tells you all you need to know. The only chance he has was to move to another country like germany where he can fight euro stiffs that have no talent. He could have stayed here and picked up the pieces but the likes of audley harrison would have kicked his ass. Prices is finished end of he knows it and we do too. Each time he steps back in the ring he will freeze like a rabbit in headlights. The guy has become gun shy and really does not have the gut for it. Just retire and stop kidding yoursen.

That makes no bloody sense considering he already knocked Harrison out in a round.

Sorry Columbo, I meant Harrison would beat him now along with most of the UK's heavyweights. Price is gunshy so would be scared who ever he faced. Its proberly a common thing in sports just like the yips in golf.

He decked Thompson hard in the second fight, the issues are simply with chin and stamina, one of those can be overcome, the other will be more difficult altogether. Lets be honest, no one's more gunshy than Audley Harrison and I'd back Price to do the exact same if they fought again.

I think both he and his promoter are pinning their hopes on Adam Booth and his pyschological abilities to change the big man's frame of mind, build his confidence.

They can work on his stamina too, which was shocking in his last fight but not much you do about his chin except teach him to keep his face away from fists. I'm backing him to rebuild his career and come back stronger and better after those losses.

According to some, Wlad Klitschko has a glass chin........
