Does anyone know why former Middleweight contender Frank Fletcher is on death row?

I don't think Frank Fletcher is on death row, he is in prison after violating his parole.... but his brother Anthoney 'Two Gun' Fletcher who was a top Lightweight contender (he beat Livingstone Bramble a short time before Bramble won the title from Mancini.... he was a very skillful boxer compared with brother Frank who was a blood and guts slugger...) Anthony is on death row for the murder by shooting of a drug dealer.... Anthony has always said that he acted in self-defense.... that the other guy pulled out the gun and it went off as they struggled with it. Anthony has a website were he lists all the inconsistancies of the case and after reading it I'm convivnced that the most he should have been charged with is manslaughter......... it's a very sad story.

I was reading in the lastest issue of the ring Magazine that some new evidence has come forward and that Anthony Fletcher either has to be granted a new trial or released..

Yes, I've read that article, it's an interesting case, don't really know what to think about it to be honest.

Whatever happened to Anthony?
