Broner is not very good and he never has been.

He's one of the biggest hype jobs in boxing history.

I am with Rainford if he gets a new trainer.

If he knuckles down and takes boxing seriously and gives up immature behaviour and his silly ass antics he would be a decent boxer... but he'll have to go down a weight where his power meant something. ..

Really, I think he showed tremendous conditioning & it showed he puts the work in.his work ethic & tactics are all wrong he shouldn't be at welter & would get beat again with his work ethic

He got hammered. He got beat by Ponce DeLeon as well. It's nothing to do with the weight, he just pulled the wool over lots of people's eyes. Happens quite often.

I believe he is still a real talent. Let`s not forget that he took a real hammering and was fighting right to the last bell.

He has heart, but like a few African American young kids in boxing, he surrounds himself with hangers on and leeches. They stoke his ego and contribute to him believeing the hype surrounding him. It is unlikley he will turn his back on the lifestyle that he appears to enjoy, so it is likely we will never see the best of him or what he could be.

He needs to drop down at least one weight class (possibly 2) and be more offensive in his fights. A strict trainer would be a good start. His corner on saturday were hopeless, they did not know what to tell him and he looked like a man fighting on his own in there. The guy is skilled and has a great chin, he can come again in a big way if he wants it badly enough. I just feel that his background will work against him here and he will likely blow up into a clone of his father, talking about what could have been.

"AB baby, you feel me, we gonna party like we won" he needs to drop that bollox for a start. I appreciate it`s a different culture but is it really the way to act?

Maybe I`m too old these days, but that sort of shit has been around for years. Remember Pryor with his group of fools shouting "What time is it?" It just aint cricket.

I can't see him knuckling down or dropping the hangers-on who gurn like tits at his every illogical uttering whilst waiting for another bottle of Hennessy to magically appear. Broner is woefully delusional and he was the last to find that out. I wonder whether he possesses the mental strength to make good the changes. I expect him to fight a couple of times more and end up with more pounds on his body than in the bank.
