Good amateur pedigree. Local lad to me. 1 fight in 18 months. What the hell has happened to him? His opponents so far read like a who`s who of tomato cans. Come on callum, get on with your career mate.

I haven't spoken to Callum in a couple of years but I know that what has happened isn't his fault, he wants to fight often and could do really well. He has had problems with manager and promoter.

I'm just wandering if he is waiting out the rest of his contract so he can move?

Injuries, Naz being his manager and quite possibly being from Lincolnshire, miles away from anywhere he might fight, making it difficult to sell tickets have all had a big effect on his career.

Johnson has made some really poor decisions. Hooking up with Prince Fatty was his first error. He's also struggled with his weight, hasn't he? Writer Shaun Brown published some comments from Johnson regarding his former promoter, his name escapes me zzzz, for a SKY Sports website prospects series piece. Anyway the article got pulled and Shaun's services were no longer required by Sky. Now there's a surprise.

Hopefully a fresh start will give Johnson the impetus he needs. But he needs to ditch the excuses and stop feeling sorry for himself.

He has a young child, he needs to ditch the manchester link as the travelling must be killin him, if he is still doing that?... and he needs to get to a gym in sheffield or lincoln or peterboro. times are only as good as your family life back home. there are many boxers who have suffered due to separation etc.

He must have to sign with Naz. Not fighting for 6 months so he could let his contract run down was stupid as well, he could have had 2 fights in that time then moved on.

I follow him on instagram and seems to be in shape and training hard. (Anyone else do instagram? Lots of fighters on there)
