I believe the Mike Tyson of 1992 was a better fighter than when he came back in 1996. Still i will say 50/50 for both fighters to win the fight.

I'd go 100/0 for Holyfield.

The same thing that happened in 1996. Evander breaks Tyson's will, and then stops him late. Evander was kryptonite to Mike.

That fight should have happened in 1991 or 1992. Still, I believe that the great Evander Holyfield would have beaten him. It would have been a hell of a fight. But, Holy's toughness in mind, heart, will, determination and combination punching would be the difference.

Holy in 1992 was better than his own 96 version too, even though he lost the Bowe fight.
Tyson stuggled with Razor before he went in and the myth was broken prior with the Buster fight so Holy would still take it.
I often think that Evander wished he'd got to Tyson before Buster as he knew he could beat him even then.
I'm sure he would have revelled in having that scalp first.
What if Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield 1992.

Is when the fight was scheduled to be. 1992. Mike Tyson still on his prime. Better than the 1996 version. Who would had won?

Holyfield late round stoppage...slightly more competitive. If Tyson in prime then I go for Mike.

I agree with most of the posts on here Holyfield would beat mike any time he mentally stronger than mike and mikes fragile mindset would have caved once the real deal didnt wilt
Once tysons aura of invincibility went he was never the same
