How tall is Al "Bummy" Davis?

I would please like to know how tall was former welterweight Al "Bummy" Davis who fought Tippy Larkin, Tony Canzoneri, Bob Montgomery, Beau Jack, Fritzie Zivic, Rocky Graziano and Henry Armstrong? I tried to to view in on the tale of the tape between Davis and Canzoneri, but the image was too small to see what was Davis' height. I read on Davis' boxrec that it only showed his reach of 67, but could anyone find out if Davis stood at 5'6" because when I saw the size of him, he was a small man and he was the same size as Beau Jack in the picture.

I don't know the answer to this yet. I think 5-6 as well, but don't have any written confirmation. I thought I could get it from his WWII draft card but I can't find one yet.
An odd not, there was an Abraham Davidoff who enlisted on 9-11-1945, which is the day of Bummy's last fight. Of course the irony is if Bummy has enlisted that day he'd have not been killed in the bar hold up.
I know and old guy who knew Bummy I'll ask him as well, but not really very reliable source.

OK, this is interesting.
I found his grave and his name was Albert Davidoff, not Abraham.

Then I found him in the 1940 census living with his parents, profession "boxer".

From there I found his WWII enlistment, which was Albert A. Davidoff, so Abraham was probably his middle name.
Anyway, in 1941 when he enlisted he was 5-5, 169 lbs.
I update his boxrec page to reflect the height and the full name.

Thanks Davey, I appreciate it. I saw the photos of Al Bummy Davis and Al Tribuani after their second fight stood close and Tribuani stood 5'8 1/2" and Davis was a few inches shorter, so 5'5" was the exact height that he stood. Thanks anyway.

I saw Bummy Davis ringside many times, shook his hand, and I would say Bummy was between
5'5" and 5'6" tall...I saw the retired Bummy Davis and his wife few weeks before he was killed
by gunmen at Duddy's Bar in Bklyn, NY....Hardest left hooker I ever saw on a little man...

I worked out at Beecher's gym in Brooklyn in 1939-Bummy worked out there at times and would put his height at 5'6"
